Oh, ABC, you taunt me with the idea of a LOST season 6 promo only to dash my hopes and dreams when I realize that it contains no new footage.

E!Online's Kristen recently annouced that ABC was commited to not showing any new footage from season 6 in its promos:

I’m hearing from Lost sources that every single shot of the first few episodes are so revealing that the producers have convinced ABC to NOT SHOW A SINGLE FRAME before the new season airs.

No promo scenes, no photos, no nada! So you will be completely in the dark, but it is for good reason: The twists they’re planning are so good, you will WANT to be surprised. Trust me. Your mind gonna go kaplewey.

If I recall correctly, the first promo for season 5 last year contained no new footage from season 5 and it still got me hooked.  You know the one I'm talking about....the one that showed the Oceanic 6 getting rescued and the rest of them left behind.  I was psyched.  So now ABC has a little teaser for us.  There's no new footage, but damn if it doesn't get me psyched for the final season of LOST.
