EVER! The Radiohead song (Everything In It's Right Place) in the background also contributed to the mood setting, and also adds to the whole falling pieces motif. I agree 1000%, Sam. This is a job that the promo's team of channel cuatro offered boolab.tv. There was a pitch of several directors and it ended up in my hands (all the other boards were amazing), we did so much viewing of the last two seasons of the show, so much rotoscoping, so many palm trees in 3D... that when the promo was done we had a bittersweet taste. The people at cuatro (iñaki Marticorena) had the idea of using Jorge Luis Borge's poem on chess. We couldn't get the rights to use it and we stumbled onto Omar Khayyám's poem, it was amazingly written and had just the words that we needed.
