Whoa, that picture of Christian is really important and I think it proves a commonly held theory wrong: he's holding a FLASHLIGHT. Evidently he and Jacob are not the same person, given that Jake freaked last time he saw one of those. And if that's the cabin he's hanging the picture in, it seems unlikely that Jacob is in there. Are they even on the same side?

Maybe back in the 70's we'll see Jake having a bad experience with a flashlight that scars him.

It's the picture that is included at the top of the story. Namaste to the new recruits. You can see Kate in her dark blue jumpsuit in the middle of the shot. They line up perfectly.
