Kate doesn't kill her father, but accidentally blows up an innocent man. So maybe this is alterna-Sawyer, and his parents didn't die when his father murdered his mother and committed suicide, but the family exists in a universe where the real Sawyer (Locke's Dad) never conned James Ford's mother at all. The family was happy- but Sawyer is orphaned in the tragic accident the casting call talks about. I wonder how different this one will turn out, or if he will still want people to hate him like Sawyer a'la Season One?
