A lot of people had a real love/hate relationship with Andrea (played by Laurie Holden) on The Walking Dead. Some called her tough and driven, and some called her irrational and easily manipulated. Either way, her time on the show made in impact with viewers. She seems to always play a tough girl, and manages to pull it off, too. Looks like Holden just landed a new gig on a new TNT show, Major Crimes.
Here is what sets this news apart, though. Many are speculating that her characters appearance may mark the intro into a spin-off of Major Crimes. Isn’t Major Crimes a spin-off to The Closer? So this could potentially be a spin-off of a spin-off of a spin-off, huh? Either way, Laurie Holden will be joining the Major Crimes cast as Ann McGinnis. The second in command to the show’s aptly named S.O.B” unit. It will all mark a major turning point for the show. This has led many to believe that the fact that her episode debut also marks the return of the “Fritz Howard” that this could all be leading to some major changes for major crimes. As of right now, Holden was only given a guest spot, but rumors abound it will not stay that way for long.
All I can say is, I hope she makes better decisions on Major Crimes then she did on The Walking Dead. Hey, someone had to say it.
