Is Medium Canceled? Patricia Arquette Thinks So

Two weeks ago we reported that CBS had decided to give Medium a shorter episode number this season.  The reason for this was to allow some room for CBS' mid-season shows since the network had decided to pick up all five of its new shows this season.

But the network executive had not said that Medium was being canceled, only that the network cut its episode order this season.

Now EW has spoken to Medium star Patricia Arquette, who has told them that Medium has, in fact, been canceled:

The actress told EW that “we got canceled” and the show only has two more episodes to shoot.

“I was trying to get information from the writers about the last episode,” Arquette told EW this weekend while attending a gala at The Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles. “I don’t know what it’s going to be, but they’re really excited about it. They’re like, `we’re just going to burn the whole thing down!’ I’m really excited.” She’s not looking forward to saying goodbye, however. “It’s been a great time. I love that time in my life.”

This information has not been corroborated yet by CBS, but if Patricia Arquette is making this announcement, then it's most likely true.  Stay tuned for more information.
