On to the recap.

Morgan aka The Thorn in David's Side aka Violet's Even Crazier Replacement

David is close to mending things with Lauren, but who decides to pull a Violet? Morgan. She thinks its best to have David meet her father and introduces him as her new boyfriend. Don't remember when they decided to be a couple? No? Well, neither does David. But Daddy Dearest makes it clear to David that he loves it when his daughter is smiling and tends to get homicidal when she's not. Either way is not good for David now, especially when Coal is about to have it's big reopening. Before the opening, Morgan decides to drop through and rave about David being her boyfriend and you can't help but think that this girl has a screw or two loose in the noggin. David lays the law down with her about the boyfriend nonsense, but she thinks that if she has to go up to a slut then so be it (Morgan heard about Lauren's confession).

During the opening, Lauren shows up and congrats David on all of his achievements when Morgan walks up and claims David as hers and Lauren walks off, upset and confused. David chases after her and explains the situation, letting loose about his last robbery in the process. He claims that it was a mistake and he realizes that he had been a huge hypocrite towards Lauren. Both of them deduce that two imperfect people are perfect for each other and they kiss and make up all while Morgan channels Violet's crazy ass on the side.

After a night of passion, David leaves Lauren in bed to go do some things for Coal. When he gets there, Morgan's Daddy Dearest arrives and proceeds to kick David's ass for stealing from him and breaking his little girl's heart in the process. WHAT??!??! David explains that it didn't go down like that, but Daddy Dearest is like every other dumb ass parent when their kids lie in the principal's office and ignores David's pleas. He does spare David though, but only so David could work for him as a thief. David exclaims that he is out that game, but Daddy Dearest puts up an ultimatum that if David doesn't get in line, then Lauren, who DD already has someone following, will pay. David, they have pulled you back in!!!!

Dr. Mancini vs. Dr. Drew (No not that Dr. Drew...)

Lauren reveals to Drew that she was called in to help Dr. Michael Mancini install another one of his heart valves into a patient. Drew begs for Lauren to throw off some charts or something to stop the procedure, but Lauren flakes, claiming that without concrete proof, she can't side with Drew. Dammit, Lauren!!!

Drew takes it upon himself to confront Dr. Michael Mancini about his faulty device. Of course, Mancini is livid, but Drew throws a good case and Mancini claims that he will look into it. Drew is elated that the good doc listened to him. Idiot.

Drew runs to tell Lauren the good news, but even she knows something doesn't smell right and it is not the untended to bedpan down the hall. As if on cue, two security guards come asking to search Drew's locker and the find a big ass bottle of oxycotin pills in his belongings. As he dragged out the building, Drew finally gets it in his head about Dr. Mancini not being trusted.

Lauren, on the other hand, decides to make matters right. After she scrubs in to the surgery, Lauren takes off her surgical mask and cap, intentionally contaminating the room and telling everyone about the poisonous valve. Michael is pissed beyond comprehension. Is this the end of Lauren's career? Let's hope not. Hear that, CW? Hmm??!?!

Riley and Jonah's Adventures Down Memory Lane

Riley and Jonah both have a NYU mixer coming up and while cleaning all of Jonah's stuff out of the apartment (and reminiscing something fierce in the process), Riley decides to bring up the prospect of them going to the mixer together as friends. She's clearly over Jonah, who is clearly not over Riley. The two do go to the mixer together and are shocked to see that their two friends rekindled their own romance (in honor of Riley and Jonah). This makes Jonah have a change of heart and some bigger balls as he constantly drops hints that he wants to start anew. Then Jonah takes it a step further by kissing Riley when they return home that night and Riley returns the kiss, but stops it cold. Jonah explains his feelings for her, but Riley doesn't want to be the other woman, i.e., Ella. So she tells Jonah that he had his chance, he blew it and basically that he needs to deal with it. YES!!!!!

At the party, Jonah confesses to Ella about what happened and she is not a happy camper at all. She does thank Jonah for helping her realize that she can be monogamous, but not with his stupid ass. YES!!!! Ella is back on the market!!!!!!

The next morning while Jonah marvels that he is on the set of his first feature film, Riley confesses her sins to Drew, who suggests that maybe it's for the best since he might be dead in a couple of months. WHAT?!?!? WHY!??!?! It turns out that Drew himself is a recipient of one of Mancini's heart valves and that the damage is already done and he's just counting down the days. NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! CW, YOU BETTER NOT CANCEL THIS SHOW!!!!!!

Amanda vs. Ella: The Final Showdown... For Now.

Here it is. The story you been waiting on. The Battle of the MP Mega Bitches. Who Survived? And What Was Left Of Them?

As Riley and Drew help back Jonah's stuff, Riley whines about not having anything to put on her wall. Drew has something though. He found it in his apartment's bedroom closet when he moved in. It is a Sydney Andrews original left behind by Auggie. Hmmm...

Amanda talks to a Mr. Lao about bringing him the painting, which means that she's pinpointed it's location. But makes a sudden appearance? SYDNEY!!!!!!! Only thing about that is that she is a figment of Amanda's imagination. A side effect from the pills? Who can tell, but one thing is for sure, Sydney is weighing on Amanda's guilty conscious... if she has one.

Ella makes it to work to try to butter up Amanda, but the Queen of Mean already knows about Ella's little late night office stunt with David. Ella plays dumb, but Amanda has proof: a strand of blonde hair with split ends that it sure as hell isn't hers. OUCH! After Amanda answers Ella's plea of "Why me?!", Ella claims to not know why she chose to model herself after a cold-hearted bitch. Before the "ch" in 'Bitch' leaves Ella's lips good, Amanda slaps the Listerine and possible lip gloss out of Ella's mouth. Then she fires her. DAAAAAMMMMMNNNNNNN!!!!!!! Round One goes to Amanda Woodward.

Ella stops by Riley's looking for Jonah, but instead gets a sympathetic Riley and a surprise of her life. She spots the Sydney Andrews painting and her sonar goes off. She begs Riley for the painting and Riley, already feeling bad for the girl, gives it to Ella. When she gets back to her apartment, Ella begins doing the same procedure Amanda did, but this time Ella has found the lucky scratch off ticket instead. It's the painting that brought Amanda out of hiding and Ella now has it in her possession. Round Two goes to Ella Simms.

Amanda breaks into Drew's apartment and Ella catches her and gloats about the how the tables have turned. She then shows Amanda the painting and while it was painful to see Amanda act like a child like puppy while reaching for the painting, I have to give it to Ella for raising the stakes. Ella makes demands that Amanda must follow in order to get the painting. First, Ella wants her own PR company and all of her clients she signed for WPK to come with her. Amanda grants this. But Ella needs funding as well. Amanda grants this. Then Ella needs to see all of this in writing. Amanda agrees and we only know this because Amanda returns home later with a briefcase filled with benjamins. Then Sydney shows up again to taunt Amanda on the fact that she might have the dough but she doesn't have a beau or any friends for that matter. Amanda doesn't give to you know what about that, but Sydney says that she used to do the same too, but she's six feet under now. Mmmmhmmm... Oh. It's a tie here, yall.

The final bout comes when Ella sashays into WPK ready to collect, but Amanda hits her with a bombshell saying that reading the fine print is fundamental and that Ella lacks said skills. But au contraire, dear Amanda... Ella learned from the best. See Ella knew that she was going to be duped and had Amanda's own PI guy shoot photos of Amanda selling the stolen painting to Mr. Lao. Amanda's face drops about 40 stories in under a nanosecond.  To make matters even more devious, cold and dirty, the newly redubbed P&K, nee WPK, has put Ella in charge of the LA offices until they get back, which Amanda says is impossible since she is a majority shareholder. Well, they will have to do that while Amanda sports an ORANGE JUMPSUIT AND PRISON BARS!!!!!!!! The FBI shows up and arrests Amanda, who tells Ella that "This war is just the beginning." As Amanda is escorted out the building as Ella watches from her new thrown. Ella Simms Wins The CROWN!!!!!!! For Now...

The Melrose Place Community Letter

- The CW, reread the beginning of this recap and get back to me. You HAVE TO FRAKKING RENEW THIS SHOW!!!!!!!!! OMG!!!!!

- Ella and Amanda was epic as hell!!!!!!!!! This is what we need, people!! More catfights in our lives!!!! I cannot fathom this war to be left unfinished... I just can't.

- Neither can I see how David's problems will be left unsolved. CW, I need you to listen to me. PLEASE!!!!

- Mancini gets away unscathed again??!??! Drew could die?!?! NOOOOOOOO, PEOPLE!!!!!!!! We need closure!!!!!!

- Last night was one of the best season finales to date in my book and viable for the show to be renewed in my opinion. Screw the frakking naysayers. This show delivered tonight and there has to be some way for the show to return. Just have to be.

Do your part to save this show! And if we do get a reprieve then I will most definitely be back this fall. Get started, folks!!!!!

Melrose Place 1.18 "Wilshire" Recap

Well, this is it, folks - the season finale of Melrose Place on April 13.  Actually, possibly the series finale, depending on whether the network renews the show or not.  We previously posted promo photos for the season finale and how we have a promo and two sneak peeks for you below.

IT’S ELLA VS. AMANDA IN THE SEASON FINALE AND ONLY ONE WILL BE LEFT STANDING/LAURA LEIGHTON MAKES A SURPRISE APPEARANCE

Amanda (Heather Locklear) fires Ella (Katie Cassidy) from WPK.  However, not one to go out without a fight, Ella searches for anything to blackmail Amanda.  Unfortunately for one of the ladies, the end result is worse than she could have ever imagined.  Meanwhile, after attending a NYU reunion, Jonah (Michael Rady) asks Riley (Jessica Lucas) to reconcile and Lauren (Stephanie Jacobsen) and David (Shaun Sipos) get back together but a jealous Morgan (guest star Melissa Ordway) retaliates and puts Lauren’s life in jeopardy.

Drew (Nick Zano) tries to stop Michael (Thomas Calabro) from performing a dangerous surgery, but Michael sets Drew up to get caught with drugs, causing Drew to be thrown out of ULA.  Finally, Sydney (Laura Leighton) makes a surprise appearance.

Sneak Peeks - Melrose Place 1.18 "Wilshire"

Wow.

After reading this recap, it is your duty to 1) read The People vs. Melrose Place article and 2) scream to the high heavens for Melrose Place to be renewed. That is your homework assignment, your after work special project, a part of your grocery list, whatever, just do it.

Last night set the stage for a season finale like no other. It pains me that the show only got eighteen episodes this season, but if it does get picked up for a second season, I would settle for another eighteen without a complaint in my body nor soul. But I digress... Major plot developments accrued last night and Sydney's ghost still haunts the denizens of 4616 Melrose Place; and I am sure she is cackling her ass away as she dances on top of the water in the pool. Long live the craziness that is Melrose Place. On to the recap...

The Love Quadrangle That Never Ends...

Riley and Drew sex it up in the pool and discuss Riley's fundraiser for her school that she proposed to Ben, Amanda's recent ex. As the two kiss and swim, Jonah comes in the courtyard and immediately puts his frowners on before going to Ella's place. Later at the fundraiser, Riley worries that her theme, "The Kid In Us All" (or something), is not a hit with the people in attendance. The set up for the fundraiser includes a finger painting board, a bouncy castle, and other childhood gems to name a few. Even the silent auction is a bust, despite one of the hot ticket items being a day on the set of Living in Reverse with Jonah, which Drew thinks is a clear sign that Jonah is not over her. Drew, God Bless his soul, eventually gets the party started right and the money flowing, but he has one last trick up his sleeve, which is auctioning off a date with Riley for charity. The money really starts flying, but Jonah shows up and makes a bid, leading in the huge elephant in the room in the process. The bidding war goes up until Drew can't match Jonah's price and as Drew prepares to close the deal, Ella Simms walks her sexy ass in and stuns everyone with a bid of $2000, which wins the bidding war. Oh and did I mention that Jonah's mouth dropped and shattered all over the place at the sight of his girlfriend watching him bid on his ex fiancee? Yea, it was awkward.

Jonah tries to save face and ask Ella if she is mad, but our girl Ella doesn't wear her feelings on her sleeve. It would totally clash with her Prada. Anyway, Ella says she did it for charity and that she sees where Jonah's heart is. I think there was a double meaning there, but who knows?

Riley and Drew eventually celebrate Riley's success by having fun in the bouncy castle and making out . I smell doom.

The Couple That Shouldn't Have Ended...

After Chef Marcello acts like a buffoon's ass in the kitchen by embarrassing employees in front of customers, David tells him to kick rocks. Go, David!!! But Marcello has some pull and takes most of the kitchen staff with him. Uh-Oh... Meanwhile, Lauren gets the third degree from Riley for not answering her calls and hiding from her. After the two establish that all is cool, Riley advises that Lauren go the extra mile and show David how much she loves him. The super short staff at Coal presents the perfect opportunity to do just that as Lauren shows up and takes orders like a pro. But this isn't enough for David as he insults her a bit here and there, but Lauren is a trooper and she hangs in there.

Ella shows up at Coal to ask David a favor, but he enlists her to help as well. He better be glad that Ella and crew showed up, because one of the patrons is a top food critic and her reviews either make or break you. So the crew of Coal, with the help of Lauren and Ella, start kicking ass in their jobs so they can maintain them and their dignity the next day. When the food critic leaves without anyone telling him, David takes it out on Lauren by saying that he can't trust anything that she says, because he thought he knew her but clearly doesn't. Lauren sits him down and explains why she did what she did, which happens to be because of her demanding father who never accepted Lauren for her achievements. See, David? Lauren has father issues, too! You guys have more in common now than you could imagine! Now kiss and make up!

Later, Lauren gets a shock when David shows up at the hospital and wants to read the food critic's review with her. The critique is glowing and so are the two love birds, who mend their broken hearts and, God I hope, their relationship.

Me Loving Ella Simms Will Never End...

Jonah comes home to find Ella dressed to kill. She uses sex as a weapon in trying to get Jonah to help her hack into the WPK files so she can clear her name in Amanda's embezzlement scheme. But Jonah is all "That's wrong..." "Get a lawyer instead..." and I want to throw a book upside his head. Jonah does come through by giving Ella a name of the IT guy at WPK, Gabe, who has the access key on him at all times and without that key, Ella can't do much hacking. But this is Ella Simms!!! Melrose Place's answer to LOST's John Locke! NEVER tell Ella what she can and cannot do!

Using Jonah's 'intel' on Gabe's dating habits (the guy is a big online dater), Ella poses as one of Gabe's recent online matches at a movie theater and tries to woo the geek over by impressing him with knowledge of Battlestar Galactica and the like. Gabe is floored, but his amazement is short lived because he is looking to settle down with someone and Ella isn't his type. Then I suggest you try another means of landing your future wife other than internet dating, Gabe. I mean it works for some, but not for you. Ella thinks quickly on her feet and dives in for a kiss to stun and distract Gabe while she removes the key off his keychain. That girl got some  skills, yall!!!!

After recruiting David to help her break into WPK, the two make their way to Gabe's office and uses the key only to find that it doesn't work on certain files. Uh-oh... Ella, not bowing out yet, drags David to Amanda's office to find anything they can use to clear Ella's name and use against Amanda. While they didn't find anything concrete, they do come across a file on Sydney and info on that painting Amanda has been looking for. Ella takes pics for reference, but when will they find out that the queen of mean is broke?

When Your Creative Input Ends...

Jonah has a casting meeting with Carl Heller, the producer who bought his script, and the director of the movie. Heller has to take care of a problem on another set and leaves director and writer alone... Bad move. Jonah spots the director's copy of the script, which is bleeding from the red inked changes and bootleg rewrites. The director wants to change the pivotal scene of Jonah's two characters meeting at a Halloween Party to a Valentine's Day party... War. On.

After enduring horrible acting from a range of actresses, the casting session is over and Jonah feels that none of the girls had the character in their grasp. Then the director suggests that Jonah write some scenes that the actresses can sink their teeth into. Doesn't the director get that it was the content in Jonah's script that got everyone on the project their jobs? Jonah argues that he doesn't want his script to be ruined because the director wants to hire a no talent actress. The director then fires Jonah from the project. WHAT?!!?!?!

After dropping the news on Ella, Jonah declares to fix this fiasco himself. He decides to pay Heller a visit and demand his movie back if they plan on crapping over his hard work. Heller basically tells Jonah that heart and soul doesn't exist in Hollywood and that the movie is now his and Jonah can just kick rocks. But after the star of film, Owen Anderson, sees the director's new direction for the movie, he cans the prick. Hell yeah!!! So Heller calls Jonah and gives him the directing gig for his own movie. Talk about dreams coming true!!! But then Jonah sees Riley with Drew. Awwww.... Too bad.

Meanwhile, Ella reveals to Jonah her WPK break-in scheme and Jonah is not happy. But Ella also reveals that she told him, because she didn't want to lie to him. Ever. So, Jonah, you better take a hint, because if you lie to Ella about your feelings for Riley, then there will be hell to pay. Okay? Good.

Drew, We Hope Your Stint Will Never End!!!

Remember last week when Drew secretly went into the morgue and started cutting on a dead body, well we got an answer and boyyyy is it a career ending doozy!

After losing a patient and fighting valiantly to save him, Drew later enters the morgue and proceeds to take blood from the body. Lauren walks in on him and starts asking questions about his ethics, not in a bitchy way, but as a friend. Drew says that it is for his hematology studies and that it is highly important that Lauren keeps his secret as he has kept hers. Wow.... That deep huh?

When Lauren is in the middle of making up with David, Drew yanks her away and drops a bombshell. Remember that Michael Mancini is living the high life now for due to inventing that heart valve he has been gloating about all season? Well turns out that five patients that have died in the last couple of weeks have all had the heart valve installed in them and died from a manufacturing error that releases some sort of thing into the patients body. HOLY $%*!!! Drew begs Lauren to help him put a stop to the madness, but does Lauren really want to disturb that wasps nest again???

The Melrose Place Community Letter

- Jonah, admit that you aren't over Riley and stop playing with Ella's heart? Please and Thank You.

- Thank God, Lauren and David are back on the up and up. But like Drew and Riley, I smell doom. I mean next week will be a Melrose Place season finale so some couple will be in shambles and I wonder who it might be...

- No Amanda? For shame! But it shows that she really doesn't have to be in attendance to cause hell, or in Sydney's case, alive.

- Is it just me or does Riley and Drew seem like a good fit? I think they are a good fit. :D

Photos - Melrose Place 1.18 "Wilshire"

If there was any other reason to not miss Melrose Place this week other than the greatness that is the show itself, then a mini reunion of the original MP cast should've had you tuned in and glued to the seat of your comfy sofas.

The Set Up

Jonah is prepping the courtyard for a blowout party to celebrate the selling of his script. David asks Ella if Lauren has said anything about their breakup, but Lauren has remained mum. Meanwhile, Lauren and Riley are about to initiate a girls' day out, but Dr. Michael Mancini calls her in to work. Riley's day is salvaged though when Drew enlists her in helping him pick up toys for the pediatric ward at the hospital.

Amanda gets a visitor (and we get a special guest) in Jane Andrews as she comes in to check up on why the hell Amanda hasn't fired Ella yet. Excuse me? WHAT?!?! Amanda tells Jane to hold her horses, but Jane comments on Amanda being only a tenant and can be tossed on her ass in a jiffy. Damn, Amanda! You're broke AND Jane Andrews has the ups on you? The new millennium is NOT being good to you!

Meet and Greet And Treats To Beat!

Lauren gets to the hospital and helps Michael with a surgery, but he isn't finished with her. She never completed her transaction with him from the night he found out about her extracurricular activities and wants to collect. But Lauren is saved by a triple bypass surgery that Michael has to scrub into. But he tells her that she better answer her phone when he gets out. Uh-oh...

Ella finds out that one of her clients was billed $200,000 dollars from WPK, which is soooo not his fee. Amanda warns Ella that if anyone is embezzling money from WPK then they will be without a job quicker than Ashlee Simpson-Wentz's stint on the show. Ella finds Joy Reynolds and asks her about her payment of $200,000, but Jo balks at that price, revealing that she only got $20,00 dollars for her work on the Anton V shoot with Riley. Ella's gears began to work.

David operates the newly purchased Coal, but gets a shock when Morgan arrives with her father's five thousand watch as a gift and she wants more of what David has to offer. When David declines, Morgan pulls out her "my father will kick your ass card" and plays it with gusto if David doesn't give her the goods. Damn, David.

Riley and Drew get to know each other pretty damn well and Riley confirms to Drew that she basically is done with Jonah. Drew displays his charm and gets Riley to blush throughout their scenes with each other. I like these two together, but I smell something amiss.

Amanda finds out from her source that Sydney put all her paintings into a storage unit and realizes that she will have to play nice with her current residents to get info from them. What better way to do that than attend Jonah's blowout?

There's No "Place" Like "Melrose" aka The Party, aka The Reunion

Ella confides in Jonah about someone trying to set her up. Lauren shows up and complains about Michael, but runs off as soon as David shows up. Michael calls, saying that he is on his way to the hotel. Lauren decides to risk it and stay home.

The party is at full swing and Amanda buys drinks for everyone, possibly to get everyone so preoccupied that she can snoop around. Drew and Riley show up and Jonah is shocked to see them together. Not really shocked, but peeved.

David confronts Lauren about why she broke up with him and he thinks it has something to do with his background. He just doesn't know when to let go and as Lauren tries to explain to him, Michael shows up and she freaks and runs away from David. Amanda inadvertently saves Lauren from Michael's prowling and Jane enters the scene and Michael is lost for words. The two play catch up and comment on how the building has a "strange gravitational pull". Wow...

Amanda comes to Ella on a truce for now, but only to butter her up to get info on Sydney. Ella suggests that Amanda talk to David, who is the Sydney guru. Amanda then goes back to business and asks Ella about the client accounts. This prompts Ella to reveal her suspicions of embezzlement within the company, but never reveal your suspicions to the culprit, because it is the know-it-all who is the first to go.

Riley and Drew play beer pong and are about to call it a night when Jonah comes in wanting to challenge Drew. Jonah ends up winning and acts an ass, but it doesn't phase Riley and Drew who leave to go do something else. But Jonah can't keep his eyes off the two. Later while looking for a bottle opener in Riley's apartment, Jonah comes across Riley and Drew making out. He leaves and vents to Ella of all people about what he just witnessed in his old apartment. Why Ella didn't get in his ass for even being bothered with Riley is completely lost on your boy here.

Lauren locks herself up in her apartment, but David begins knocking on her door. While both of them linger at the door, David is the first to crack, thanks to Morgan who has shown up at the party. Is it me or is this bitch becoming annoying as hell? David takes her to his apartment to get her from Lauren's front door. When they get up there, Morgan admires a painting and believes he hocked it. She then pounces David and despite him telling her that he is dull as nails, Morgan tells David that he will never be dull. Enter Amanda who saves another MP resident, who waits till after Morgan leaves and lays into David about Sydney, the paintings, and David's thievery.  David mentions that Sydney gave Auggie a painting as well and I immediately want to tell Amanda to call off the search, because she's not getting that one back.

After Michael gets shot down by Jane, Jo shows up and the group is finally met with Amanda, who tells them to reunite in ten more years. After the moment of the night, Jo confronts Amanda about the embezzling, because she smelled Amanda's scent all over it when Ella brought it to her attention, especially after the scandal at D&D Advertising in the original series. But Jo learned a few tricks from good ole Amanda and demands that a check be made to her charity, unless the "Queen of Publicity" wants the world to know that she sunk her own company under. Oh and Ella hears ALL of this!

Drew approaches Jonah about the incident in Riley's apartment and asks if Jonah is really, really, REALLY over Riley. Jonah claims that he is, but after Drew mentions going to a hardware store to buy a deadbolt for Riley's door, Jonah loses it and the two get into a scuffle that ends with them in the pool along with a few other drunkards.

Michael still wants a night cap with Lauren and blows her phone up to the point that Lauren is in tears. Michael ends up in front of her door and is ready to snitch about her night life to her friends. Lauren has had it. She marches out to the residents of MP and tells them everything. Her friends are shocked, but the moment that breaks her is when David walks away in disgust.

The Morning After

Ella and Jonah - The two wake up, hung over as hell, and summarize the previous night's events. Ella finally questions him about his behavior last night over Riley, and he, again, says that he's over Riley. Yea right. Ella then gets a summons from Amanda to come to the office, which is closed due to it being Saturday. Uh-Oh...

David and Lauren - While David laments over breakfast at Coal, Lauren approaches him and tries to talk to her. He rips her up with insults, but Lauren tells him that despite all that she is in love with him. She leaves David to ponder this fact, but boy does he have a lot to think about.

Riley and Jonah - Riley runs into Jonah on her way to jog and awkwardness abounds. She confronts him on his behavior and after Jonah apologizes, she reminds him of how many times he and Ella have flaunted their couple status in front of her face and she didn't claw out Ella's eyes afterwards. Good point.

Drew - The newest resident of MP seems to have some skeletons in his closet. I get this from the fact that he snuck into the morgue at the hospital and began cutting up on a dead guy. Wassup with that?

Amanda and Ella - As soon as Ella gets into the office, Amanda lays into her for embezzling money from WPK. WHAT?!?!?! Ella reveals that she knows what Jo and Amanda discussed the night before, but Amanda feigns ignorance and gives Ella a second chance, although she will be watching Ella like a hawk... Ain't this a bitch!!?!

The Melrose Place Community Letter

- The reunion was on point for what it was. I wonder how many old MP fans yelped in joy as much as I did when the four original cast members appeared on screen together.

- So Lauren came out! I fear for her now, because even though her friends know, what about the Board of Directors at the hospital?

- Ella vs. Amanda Round One! It is sooo on!!!! I would bet on one of them, but that would be like picking sides and I have to know how the hell Amanda got broke in the first place.

- What the hell is up with Drew and dead bodies? I don't know if I will like this! What will Riley think?

- Jonah. <SMACK!>

Melrose Place 1.16 "Sante Fe" Recap

A new episode of Melrose Place will be airing on April 2 and the CW hasn't released any promo photos, but we do have a promo and two sneak peeks to share with you below.

LAUREN BEGS DAVID FOR FORGIVENSS, ELLA SCHEMES TO SAVE HER JOB AND DREW AND JONAH FIGHT OVER RILEY

David’s (Shaun Sipos) new role as a restaurant owner is put to the test after he loses some of his wait staff on the day an important food critic has come to review Coal.  In an effort to get David to forgive her, Lauren (Stephanie Jacobsen) pitches in as a waitress and hostess and helps him out of his jam.

Ella (Katie Cassidy) wants to hack into the WPK files to erase the fake evidence against her for embezzlement, but Jonah (Michael Rady) strongly disagrees with her tactics, so she looks to David for help.  With Drew’s (Nick Zano) help, Riley (Jessica Lucas) throws a fundraiser for her education foundation but when Drew tries to increase the donations by auctioning off a date with Riley, things go awry after Drew and Jonah get into a bidding war.  Thomas Calabro and Heather Locklear also star.  Shaun Sipos also stars.

Sneak Peeks - Melrose Place 1.17 "Sepulveda"

New resident Drew made his presence known in a lot of the storylines this week, while Amanda found a new target to sharpen her nails on and relationships crumbled faster than a recovering addict in a meth lab.

The Set Up

The tenants of  Melrose Place are enjoying their lives in various ways. Ella comes home to a candlelit dinner courtesy of Jonah. Ella calls it "very domestic". Hmm... Drew is winning over the staff of the hospital much to Lauren's ire, but she is warmed by the special appearance of David bringing her dinner at the hospital. Aw.

Riley and Ben leave the fundraiser where Riley's idea for the school was discussed and Riley seemingly made a great impression with the people at the gala. So good of an impression that Ben thinks it's a good idea to kiss Riley. Um... doesn't he know Amanda is at home waiting for him?

Lauren and David

Lauren is kind of perturbed that David brought her lunch, but only because we know that Michael wants Lauren to can it with his son as a form of revenge. David tries to lighten things up by announcing that he is about to try and purchase Coal, but this doesn't work. Lauren tries to explain but is interrupted by an emergency call. David later asks Drew if Lauren has seemed stressed around the hospital, but Drew basically says who isn't being stressed at a hospital? David grows worried.

Meanwhile, David finds out from Mason (Rick Fox) that Coal is worth $2.2 million and that the last day to buy is the next day. David, although being a trust fund kid, does NOT have the money! What is a guy to do? Hmmm...

Later on, David has come to the conclusion that Lauren knows that he's hiding something, which he feels explains her growing distance. So David dumps the messy Noah issue on Lauren, unknowingly giving her not only a reason for Michael's insanity, but a Get Out of Jail Free card to make it easy for her to break up with him. She does tell him that it's not the paternity issue that is to blame, but that they are on two different paths in life. How pathetic is that?

So what does David do? He returns to thieving to get the money to purchase Coal, setting his sights on a diamond ring worth a lot of moolah, which would be enough to purchase the club. When David breaks into the place and grabs the ring, he doesn't expect it to be guarded by a beautiful blonde bombshell named Morgan (Melissa Ordway), the daughter of the ring owner. But Morgan is more like a cat who has found her prey than a screaming bloody murder type gal. She tosses David the ring and tells him to leave, but that he owes her his body in return. Holy Seduction, Batman!

Back at the hospital, Lauren freaks when Drew makes a crack about being a medic in the day and selling his body for sex at night. She later talks to Riley about the breakup and the two discuss work and relationships and how things tend to get complicated. Drew later visits and Lauren tells him about the break up as well. He decides to take her and Riley out for drinks.

When the three of them get to Coal, they meet up with Jonah, Ella and David, who has good news: he successfully purchased Coal. Everyone is thrilled, but Lauren wonders how David paid for the club, which he lies about spending all his money on the place. Lauren knows something is up, but doesn't say anything.

The night ends with Morgan waiting for David at his place and she has come to collect her payment. David obliges. Wow.

Riley, Amanda, and Ben

Riley freaks about the kiss and fears for her job. Too late for that, toots. Ben calms her nerves by declaring that they not let a little faux pas affect their professional relationship. Then the next time we see him, he dumps Amanda.

Queen Amanda takes the breakup as Amanda Woodward could only do: with confident one-liners on the surface, anger in the inside and some espionage on the side. Meanwhile, Amanda bombards her way into David's apartment one evening and notices a painting on the wall. David says it was a gift from Sydney that she painted, but Amanda doesn't buy that for a second.

Later at Ben's office, Riley meets with Ben, who immediately wants to talk personal business rather than business. He reveals that he broke up with Amanda, because she is selfish and that he needs someone caring. Whatever. Riley falls for this crap and allows for a second kiss to happen just as someone starts snapping photos from an undisclosed area.

Amanda meets with her henchman and they discuss swiping the painting from David's pad and the possibility that Sydney might've painted over it to hide the painting Amanda has been looking for. Then the henchman drops off the goods, which are the photos of Riley and Ben. Amanda immediately initiates a target on Riley's back.

After talking to Lauren about Ben, Riley is shocked to find Amanda at her door with an envelope. She's gonna wish Amanda had a revolver when the Queen of Mean finishes with her. After Amanda reveals the pictures, she warns Riley that she screwed the pooch when she decided to cross her and hell will be paid.

Riley takes the pics to Ben, who takes them as a joke. Riley rants about how she was wrong for crossing Amanda after the woman helped her get a job, but Ben doesn't give a damn and wants to basically screw. Riley tries to be professional and end the relationship with Ben, but he refuses to assign someone else with her on the fundraising venture. So Riley says she will find the funds herself, because she is better than that. Go head, Riley!

Later, Amanda gets a hold of the painting and tries to remove the paint from it only to discover that it is actually a Sydney Andrews original. DRATS!!! She angrily trashes the painting. Amanda is getting fed up yall...

Ella and Jonah

After some desert (aka SEX), Ella is thrilled when Jonah invites her to attend his agent's son's birthday party, not as his publicist, but as his date. When they get to the party, they realize that it's a dog party and not a celebration for a human being. Jonah reaches for Ella's hand to signify their couplehood, but she isn't used to the whole 'holding hands' thing. Then Jonah introduces her as his girlfriend and she wigs again. What the hell?

Ella spots a power agent and plans to snag him for Jonah. Meanwhile, Drew just so happens to be in the band playing music. Jonah lets slip to Drew that he doesn't know if Ella is THE girlfriend yet, before he is snatched away to a quick chance meeting about a screenwriting job. Later, Jonah sees Ella "flirting" with the agent she spotted earlier and Jonah immediately gets defensive... and possessive. This does not sit well with Ella, who finally erupts about Jonah suffocating her, which leads to an argument ending in Ella proclaiming that if Jonah's smothering is what coupledom is then count her out. I knew Ella was always meant to be a playerette.

Drew rightfully tells Jonah that Ella is not like Riley and that to keep her, he needs to take a different approach. After getting the call from David at Coal, Ella and Jonah meet up and talk things out and all is well between them... for now.

Melrose Place Community Letter

- Show of hands for those who feel that Drew is Melrose Place's answer to 90210's Teddy? The guy is like the all knowing resident who gets along with everyone. I need some dirt and stat!

- Who the hell is Morgan? I want to put a bet out that she is Ben's daughter, but I am more certain that I would lose said bet.

- I don't see Ella and Jonah lasting long, because you can't learn new tricks over night and neither seem to be the patient type.

Sorry for the late review. Blame life, work, and LOST, which all screwed me royally this week. I love this gig and I love bringing you the business that is Melrose Place so don't leave me floating dead in a pool...

Jane (guest star Josie Bissett) shows up to confront Amanda for not firing Ella and runs into Michael (Thomas Calabro).  Lauren (Stephanie Jacobsen) is shocked after Michael tells her he’ll reveal her secret if she doesn’t sleep with him, so she makes a harsh decision.  Riley (Jessica Lucas) and Drew (Nick Zano) share a sweet date.  Shaun Sipos also stars.

AMANDA IS BETRAYED

Ella (Katie Cassidy) is a little overwhelmed by Jonah’s (Michael Rady) constant attention and decides couplehood might not be for her.  Lauren (Stephanie Jacobsen) succumbs to Dr. Mancini’s (Thomas Calabro) threats and David (Shaun Sipos) decides to buy Coal, but the price turns out to be a little higher than he thought.

Meanwhile, Drew (Nick Zano) moonlights in a band and Amanda catches Ben (guest star Billy Campbell) and Riley (Jessica Lucas) in a compromising position.

Sneak Peek - Melrose Place 1.15 "Mulholland"

If anyone thinks that Melrose Place isn't a great show as well as deserve another season, then they clearly, CLEARLY, missed last night's episode. The storylines are ramping up and the backstabbing and twists are phenomenal. Don't believe me? Let me count the ways by recapping.

Set Up

Everyone (sans Riley and Amanda of course) celebrates Jonah selling his screenplay at Coal, but Lauren has to leave early to do rounds. After Ella takes off to answer a call, Jonah and David discuss the absence of Riley and the convenience of Ella. Jonah mentions that while Riley was stable girl, Ella is a complete 180 of that. David advises to let things run their course.

Lauren makes it to the hospital in time to find a patient almost coding, because he was having a reaction to the penicillin that he was prescribed. And who happens to be his doctor? Michael Mancini. Michael berates Lauren for his mistake, which Lauren corrects as she corrects him as well. Michael 'apologizes' and Lauren suggests that the doctor takes a day off given the stress he has just been through, which is impairing his work. But Michael will not be chastised by a mere student doctor and tells Lauren to keep her advice to herself and her mouth shut. Has old Dr. Mancini finally been released from his tomb?

Jonah The Idiot and the Women Who Love Him

Ella works her magic texting fingers and not only snags front page covers for Jonah on two major trade magazines AND scored him an interview with Owen Anderson, a hot shot actor who Jonah wrote his script with Owen in mind. After introductions are had, Owen feels that the script is the best thing since sliced bread based on it's realistic attributes and wants to meet the inspiration for the main character's love interest: Riley.

So Ella, being Ella, asks Jonah to call Riley and have her come and talk to Owen, which Jonah thinks is ludicrous since Riley hates his guts at the moment. But he relents, because this is a big chance and he can't blow it, and calls Riley who is highly hesitant at first, but agrees to help out her beau. That is until she sees Ella is there. Riley puts on a game face and entertains Owen with the tale of how she and Jonah met, which sickens Ella into boredom. The conversation goes ugly after Riley mentions that she almost changed costumes for a Halloween party. Owen asks why didn't Jonah omitted that moment from the script since it was integral in Jonah and Riley's pairing and Jonah responds that the scene would've confused audiences because Riley changed her mind.

Uh-Oh.

Then what could have been World War III is stopped when Owen finds out that the two lovebirds of the script are no longer together, which means that the authenticity of the script is not accurate. After Riley walks off in anger, Owen decides to step out of the project. Meanwhile, Ella catches up to Riley and demands to know why she would help ruin Jonah than help his career. Riley vents her frustration out on Ella coming after Jonah all along, because Ella is not the commitment type and Jonah is so how will that work? Good point, Riley.

Ella finds Jonah and the two lament over the busted deal, but he comes up with a solution: rewrite the ending to maintain it's authenticity. But Ella throws a wrench in that plan by calling it off with Jonah, because she is in love with her career more than a person. Why? Well at least her career won't break her heart. But Jonah doesn't want to hear that silly talk and lands a kiss on Ella saying that she is what he wants, career and all. Awwwww gag me.

Amanda's WHAT?!?!?!??

After having a chat with Riley concerning a business proposition via Ben, Amanda is hit with some mind-frakking news. Apparently her financial advisor ran off with $15 million and he spent ALL of it which means that Amanda is BROKE!!!!!! It also seems as if she is borrowing from WPK's assets which could be bad for the company in the long run and send it under. But the drama doesn't stop there folks. At hearing this, Amanda starts to have shortness of breath, dizzy spells, and small spasm fits. What?!?? Is our Queen having problems?!?

Amanda goes to her old friend/nemesis Michael who asks her if everything is alright, because signs point to panic attacks. I think that having $15 million dollars stolen from you is great reason to panic.

Meanwhile, Riley wants to make a proposal to Ben and wants Amanda to help with the meeting, but Amanda doesn't think Riley is adequate for the position. But Ben does and thinks Riley's proposal was so excellent that he wants to fly to D.C. with her to discuss it a bit more. Amanda overhears this and has another panic attack. This will not end well for someone.

Meet Dr. Drew Pragin

The courtyard is jolted by the sound of a guitar solo coming from Auggie's old haunts. It's Drew Pragin, new resident of Melrose Place and Lauren is ready to rip his head off for waking her up. Drew throws his good ole boy charm at Lauren, but she ain't buying it. So imagine going into work and seeing your new nemesis is the new resident that YOU have to show around? Not too cute, I know. Lauren is immediately turned off by Drew's "could careless" charm, especially since they are doctors. Lauren must not be a big fan of Alex Karev on Grey's Anatomy then as well... But Lauren's disdain for Dr. Pragin for quickly dissolves as he exemplifies his unorthodox skills in calming panicked patients. Well, it was either that or Lauren had other things on the brain to worry about. See below...

Michael. You Are NOT the Father!!!!!!

David gets a jolt in the mail in the form of a letter from Vanessa, Michael's deceased wife aka Sydney's murderer, stating that if she is dead then she needs David to know the truth about Noah, which is that Noah is in fact David's kid. Sydney knew a cunning bitch when she saw one. Game recognized game and Sydney died for it.

So Michael, who is still having a crappy day, locks himself up from the world, but has it rocked again when David stops by. Michael is upset and is letting his conscious get to him about the down turn of recent events. Wait, Michael has a conscious?!?

Before I can marvel at this, David lands the bombshell on his father and Michael loses it, demanding that David stay away from him and Noah after just lamenting on how he wishes he was close to David. That's the Michael we all love to have! Michael decks David and the two end up in a short scuffle that leaves Michael laying in a pile of glass. David has made his point, but will Michael accept it? Keep reading...

Full Circle

Lauren gets a wonderful surprise that any twenty something would  go gaga over in a New York minute. Someone anonymously, and generously, paid off Lauren's medical school fees! Lauren is floored and then thinks the most idiot thing possible by assuming that Dr. Michael Mancini paid it off to keep her mouth shut. Before I can say "wrong Mancini, babe", Michael does it for me and then blasts Lauren's ass for even assuming such a thing. Just when I think Lauren has learned her lesson, she drops the ball yet again and in the process disturbs a hornet's nest. She calls Wendi and tells her former madam that since med school is paid off that she doesn't need to do anymore hoeing to make ends meet. But Wendi is not finished with Lauren, who owes her one more gig. Lauren doesn't want to do it and Wendi lays down the school of hard knocks on the budding doctor. Either do the job or look for a new career other than saving lives.

Conclusions

Riley hits it off with Drew after Ella and Jonah announce that he's changing the ending of his script to fit his life now, which also stood for "Hey, people! We're a couple! Deal with it." Later while humping, Ella ignores and tosses her phone to show that she means business with Jonah. Whatever.

Lauren is called off by Wendi for her final gig, which she masks as another late night shift at the hospital. Drew offers to go with her, but Lauren plays it off by saying she might be right back. Hmm. As I am thinking how much Drew will be a problem for Lauren's lies, Lauren makes it to her john's room. When the door opens up, my mouth hits the floor. Lauren's date for the night is none other than the good doctor Michael Mancini!!!

Michael doesn't flinch and plays it cool, but his gears in his head rolling. Lauren begs for Michael to keep the secret in the bag and he does, but only if Lauren does something for him in return: break David's heart by leaving him. Lauren is baffled, but Michael has said his peace and if she doesn't do as he says then her career is as good as screwed. Lauren has fell from the hornet's nest into the viper's den all in one day.

Tell me that this show is not GREAT!!!

Melrose Place Community Letter

- Welcome, Drew Pragin! Hope your stay is longer than the previous residents!

- Amanda having panic attacks? I fear for her, because if the upcoming episodes are any indication, her ass may end up in the hospital due to a reaction from some of the drama heading her way.

- I'm still not buying Jonah and Ella. There are shippers out there who love these two together, but I don't see it. Ella was built to be a predator when it comes to the dating world and Jonah can be an impatient, jealous guy. Not a good combo. I wonder how long will it take before Ella gets tired of him. Now Drew and Riley? I can see that going places.

- Should I just start calling Ben "The Wandering Eye" or "Wandering Ben"? Every woman he's come across so far has been hit on by the playboy. This will not end well and I can smell the tear ducts revving up from here.

- David has a kid and I wonder where this will lead. I don't know if I want to see a little kid running around Melrose Place. That would not be good for the show or for the kid's safety. I mean there is an unguarded pool in the middle of the court...

- Lauren and Michael. Now THAT was a Melrose Place moment!!! This will most definitely not end well and I wonder who will survive and what will be left of them in the end. Can NOT wait for next week!!!!

Sneak Peeks - Melrose Place 1.14 "Stoner Canyon"

Your boy is in tears because Melrose Place is back on my TV screen and I am as happy as a golddigger on Rodeo Drive! And we were NOT disappointed!!!! CW, be warned that fire and brimstone will rain down if you cancel this show. You have been WARNED!!!!!

The Set Up

It's the night after the cliffhanger and everyone is in a bed of some sorts: Lauren is in the hospital while David paces back and forth outside her room, Violet looks as if she is having either a withdrawal from being crazy or being Auggie-less, Auggie is actually passed out drunk, Riley calls for an absent Jonah as she tosses and turns in her sleep, and then we find ourselves in Ella's hotel room where she and Jonah awake from their forbidden rompfest the night before. Jonah sees that Riley has blown his phone up like a love sick lunatic and wants to ditch breakfast with Ella to take care of home without mentioning the previous night's events to Riley. Not so fast, bud. Ella feels that Riley deserves to know the truth not only because it's the right thing to do, but it will also put them in the clear to date openly as well. Jonah claims that the situation is complicated, but Ella says its really not when he puts his brain to it. But since when has Jonah really used his head?

Amanda gets showered with gifts from her boyfriend Ben Brinkley (guest star Billy Campbell), who promises an even bigger surprise for later at her 'welcome back to L.A.' party. The hint that Amanda demands is met with Ben's claims of it being able to show everyone how much he loves her. Hmmm...

Lauren awakes in the hospital and David picks this as the perfect time to play the dual roles of caring suitor and interrogator. She comes up with a lie and David sees through it, but Lauren changes the lie a bit to the point David believes it. She claims that she went to meet a guy she used to "date", but he drugged her and that's how she ended up on the floor. David has heard enough. It's ass kicking time. Lauren asks for David to not go after the guy, Rick, but since when has David followed the rules? He waits till Lauren is rolled out the room and copies Rick's number into his phone from Lauren's.

Ella returns home to Amanda making it known to the complex that she is moving in. Ella tries to sneak into her own apartment, but Amanda spots her and lets the insults fly when she sees Ella's disheveled look, claiming that Ella looked like a one night stand. Damn. But while Ella tries to convince her boss otherwise, Amanda ignores that B.S. and orders Ella to find a new caterer for her party later since she fired the ones Ella hired earlier. To raise Ella's blood pressure even higher, Amanda stresses that the event must go without a hitch because of Ben's big surprise, which Ella thinks is an engagement ring. After bombing Ella yet again, Amanda demands that she invite all of the residents of MP to the party. Hmmm. Do I smell a scheme?

Commitments, Schmitments!

Jonah finally returns home to a worried Riley and the two began to talk. Jonah almost spills the beans about his faux pas with Ella, but punks out after seeing the state Riley is in. Riley wants to go back to the way they were, but wants to nix the whole engagement part. This is not what Jonah wanted to hear and claims that he's not sure given the drama they been through if he's ready.

Jonah then asks David if he can crash on his couch and reveals what happened with Ella. David feels that Ella is a mistake and Riley is the real thing, but Jonah regurgitates Ella's line about how Ella knowing what she wants and Riley doesn't. David advises that Jonah keep the Ella hook up to himself and not tell Riley.

Later at the party, Ella bumps into Riley who tells her that she and Jonah talked, which Ella totally miscalculates. Jonah then shows up before Ella nearly spills the beans about everything by claiming that it's good to know where everyone stands. Riley wants to know the meaning of that comment, but Jonah pulls Ella to the side and confesses that Riley doesn't know squat yet. When Ella demands to know why, Jonah says that he can't figure out how to break something so earth shattering to someone as fragile as Riley. Ella makes it clear that she is not happy, telling Jonah to meet kettle and black when it comes to not knowing what he wants.

After that, Riley plays the memory game with Jonah about their days in college and tries to get him to reenact a moment of ecstasy in a room of Ben's mansion. Jonah stops the action from going further by stating that he has to reveal something if the two of them are to continue their relationship. As Riley listens, her world is shattered to hear that Jonah slept with Ella, her nemesis of sorts, and she leaves the room beyond pissed.

"You Don't Measure Up..." MEOW!!!!

Ella makes some unflattering remarks about Amanda that Ben overhears and she fears that she is in deep ish, but Ben manages to give Ella a glowing review to Amanda, who later praises Ella for her hard and diligent work. Ella is elated. During the big surprise reveal, Ella watches from the crowd as Amanda's face falls when the surprise turns out to be a brand new Bently. So much for that engagement ring...

Ben later uses Ella as a model for his backup gift, which is a sparking diamond necklace. As he puts it on Ella, he begins to flirt. Hard. Ella tells Mr. Brinkley to slow his roll, but Amanda sees this and hurries off. Ella takes after her and explains the situation to Amanda, who promptly rips Ella to shreds, eats those said shreds and then craps them out into a filthy gutter. Ben gracefully comes to help Ella leave with the remaining dignity she has before Amanda went in for seconds. After Ella leaves, Amanda admits that she thought that Ben was going to propose, but quickly plays it off in his face. Now we all know Amanda wanted Ben to put a ring on it, so why is she fronting?

The Incredible David Breck

After doling some advice to Jonah, David takes the info he found on Rick (Niall Matter) and locates the bastard at his studio. David acts as a delivery man to gain access in and confronts Rick for his actions. But when Rick calls Lauren a whore, David then introduces the jackass to his fists of extreme fury.

Lauren checks herself out the hospital, but before she leaves, someone calls her name. It's Rick and he has seen better days, but that doesn't stop him from trying to scare Lauren for what David did to him. Rick declares vengeance on David if he finds out his name. Lauren wants to know all that Rick revealed to David, but he still plays the jackass hand and Lauren gives him a pinch in his broken ribs. She tells the creep that he left her for dead and the only thing that happened was that karma visited him and kicked his ass.

Lauren later meets up with David in his apartment and tries to throw the scent off while trying to see if she is in the clear. But David is still in the dark and the two decide to brush the incident under David's bed, which they end up in.

So Long, Dear Friends!!!!

Ella signs up Auggie as the new caterer for Amanda's bash and he's happy to accept the gig since he's without a job. Ella spots a half empty bottle of whiskey on the coffee table and confronts him about it. Auggie lies about using it for recipes he's trying out and that he's fine.

Violet nearly scares the crap out of Riley (and me) when she sneaks up behind the poor girl and starts ranting about seeing Riley and Auggie in the courtyard the night before. Riley sets the record straight and Violet holsters her crazy for the moment and suggests that they both attend Amanda's party.

Auggie is on top of his game in the kitchen, but Ben brings up some wine from his cellar that Auggie could use in the dishes he's making. Ella tells Auggie to watch himself. Auggie later spots Riley making up with Jonah, while Violet spots the scene from the sidelines. Auggie, hurt that Riley is not fawning over him, runs to the kitchen to fetch a drink from the wine bottle.

Later while cooking, an intoxicated Auggie cuts himself. Violet floats into the kitchen knowing that Auggie is drunk and that he's drunk over Riley, which Violet predicts will eventually kill Auggie. So she has a suggestion: the two of them leave Melrose Place for good to get over their past demons. I can hear a million yelps of joy from across the nation at this suggestion.

Conclusions

Remember that scheme I smelled earlier? Well it was ripe as hell. Turns out that Amanda wanted all the residents to be at her party so that a guy she hired could search their apartments for that missing painting that Sydney took while they were away. All apartments were checked, except David's, because he was home. This calls for a Plan B and I am sure Amanda will not disappoint.

Jonah returns to the apartment complex to find an upset Ella, who wants some affection after nearly being ate alive by Amanda, but Jonah feels like crap about Riley and needs time to think. Now, Ella doesn't have time for his crap, telling Jonah that he knows where to find her when he gets his ish together. Jonah later crashes at David's and cries like a little bitch on his shoulder. I'm so over his crap, too, Ella.

Auggie returns from the party to see Riley in pain and something immediately comes to him... Meanwhile, Violet packs the last of her things, one being a picture of Sydney, and is ready to go. The screams of elated joy grows louder. I, on the other hand, might be the only person sad to see her go.

The next morning, Riley finds Auggie's apartment empty except for a letter on the floor from Auggie addressed to her. As Riley reads the letter, which says how Auggie only wanted her to be happy and that he couldn't tell her goodbye to her face, Auggie and Violet drive into the sunset on the back of his motorcycle. Despite what the other fans say, you two will be missed, Auggie and Violet...

Melrose Place Community Newsletter

- So this marked the end of a chapter for the new Melrose Place and the end of the Violet's Crazy Moment of the Week segment here at TVO. Unfortunately, Violet didn't have a crazy moment tonight, but that's OK! We got to see them off in a decent and plausible fashion instead of a blink and you miss them moment. Remember Rhonda Blair from the original series? Thought you didn't.

- So the stage is set for round two and if the set ups tonight have any indication, we are in for a bumpy ride. Any predictions on what might go down? Post them here and let's discuss...

Melrose Place 1.13 "Oriole" Recap

Since December 8th, 2009, fans of Melrose Place have been wondering what the hell happened to their favorite characters after a colossal cliffhanger that involved a catfight, a death, an overdose, and a hookup that left fans gagging for more. What will Riley think when she finds out about Ella and Jonah's night of passion? Will Lauren finally come clean to David about her second job moonlighting as a call girl? And will David ask what we have wondered since they hooked up: why didn't Lauren take his offer to pay off her loans? Will Violet and Auggie leave peacefully or in a blaze of glory? Will David know that his half brother is actually his son? Will Amanda wreck even more hell this time around than in the 90s? And most importantly...

Will the show survive to see this fall? I am praying for a yes answer for this question...

Melrose Place finally returns to our TV screens tonight and The CW brass, as well as the writers, promise a more "light" atmosphere than the "dark" and noir setting that was the back drop to the 'Who Killed Sydney (Laura Leighton)?' plot line that dominated the first twelve episodes and was solved in the Winter finale episode, "San Vicente". The return also marks the end of Ashlee Simpson-Wentz's role as Violet and Colin Egglesfield as Auggie and the entrance of a new resident named Drew Pragin (Nick Zano), a doctor who moves into the complex and clashes with Lauren. And last, but most definitely not least, we have more screen time for Amanda Woodward (special guest star Heather Locklear), who moves to the forefront with her new beau Ben Brinkley (Billy Campbell).

Are you not excited?  I sure as hell am!

So for those of you who are new to the sultry complex that is 4616 Melrose Avenue, or if you just need a refresher for the new episodes premiering tonight @ 9/8c on The CW, then this primer is just for you. So sit back, have a drink and join us in the craziness that is Melrose Place and make sure that you have a shrink, some home insurance, and a lawyer on speed dial. Because with the residents of this apartment complex, you just don't know when those essentials will come in handy.

Melrose Place 2010 Primer

Once Melrose Place returns with all new episodes on March 9, expect several new episodes in a row.  We've already posted promo photos for the March 9 and March 16 and now the CW has released promo photos and a synopsis for the next new episode, which I believe will air on March 23.

AMANDA IS BETRAYED

Ella (Katie Cassidy) is a little overwhelmed by Jonah’s (Michael Rady) constant attention and decides couplehood might not be for her.  Lauren (Stephanie Jacobsen) succumbs to Dr. Mancini’s (Thomas Calabro) threats and David (Shaun Sipos) decides to buy Coal, but the price turns out to be a little higher than he thought.

Meanwhile, Drew (Nick Zano) moonlights in a band and Amanda catches Ben (guest star Billy Campbell) and Riley (Jessica Lucas) in a compromising position.

NICK ZANO (“COUGAR TOWN”) GUEST STARS AS THE NEW TENANT AT MELROSE PLACE

Sexy Drew Pragin (Nick Zano) moves into Auggie’s old apartment and immediately clashes with Lauren (Stephanie Jacobsen).  She becomes even more upset when he shows up at the hospital as the newest resident.

Riley (Jessica Lucas) asks Ben (guest star Billy Campbell) for a job, which infuriates Amanda (Heather Locklear), and David (Shaun Sipos) receives life-changing news from an unexpected source.

Meanwhile, Ella (Katie Cassidy) makes an unrealistic demand of Jonah (Michael Rady) that backfires.

Melrose Place hasn't yet been renewed for a second season by the CW (see which shows have been given early renewal), so its future is still in doubt.  But the show that's been on hiatus since the tail end of 2009 will be returning with all new episodes on March 9 (check out a promo for the new episodes).

I have this feeling that absence really does make the heart grow fonder, because I can't remember if I actually like the new Melrose Place and so I'm starting to lean more towards "like" than simply "tolerate because Tuesday night TV just bores me".  This is dangerous.

The show's been on hiatus since the tail end of 2009 and the CW has released a new promo with some new footage.  I think they want to remind us that Heather Locklear is back on the show.  Also, half-naked people are as well.

Promo - Melrose Place - Returning March 9

Last night's episode of Melrose Place wrapped up the murder mystery storyline (what is it with all women digging both Mancini men?) and was, presumably, the end of Violet and Auggie, although that certainly isn't spelled out.

When it returns in 2010, it looks like it's going to hit the ground running, with Amanda firmly ensconced into the group (is she going to be Riley's boss?) and a new hottie with Nick Zano joining the cast.

Promo - Melrose Place 1.13

Two catfights, one "murder", one heck of a revelation and an overdose all under an hour. If you don't think Melrose was crazy tonight then I need your Primetime Soap Viewer membership card. ASAP!!!! I'm serious. I am collecting nonbelievers' memberships, because they don't know MP crazy if it stabbed them in the back and left them to die. Rant over. Now onto the recap...

The Set Up

Everyone is having some loving at 4616 Melrose Place. Except Ella that is.

She is upset that Jonah hasn't returned her calls or texts and she really wants to apologize to him for backstabbing him on the music video credit. Lauren ponders why would Ella be so upset about someone being mad at her, since Ella is prone to piss people off. Ella says that Jonah was the only person who got her. Lauren sees clear through this and tells Ella that Jonah is engaged to be married and she should count him as a loss. But Ella denies, denies, denies, that she has feelings for Jonah. When Ella leaves, Lauren gets a call from one of her old clients, Rick, who wants an encore and is willing to pay. She sets up the date. Aww come on, Lauren! Use David's trust fund!!!!

Riley is livid that he mother is trying to control the wedding all the way down to the invitations. Jonah then has a bright idea: they should forgo the wedding and just get hitched in Vegas. Riley accepts happily. Silly kids, don't they know that most Vegas weddings don't last a weekend? Ask Britney Spears!

Amanda fusses at a cabby to floor it so she won't miss her flight. Then she has a flashback of the last time she saw Sydney.

The flashback takes place in a church and Amanda finds Sydney siting in a pew, but these ladies are no saints. Amanda immediately calls Sydney a thief and demands for Sydney to return her painting that is worth $19 million dollars. A painting? Really? There goes my deed theory... Sydney claims that she doesn't have it, asking Amanda why would she steal from her. Amanda thinks that Sydney is miffed that Amanda slept with Michael and that's the reason why she would steal from her. Wait. Backup. Amanda slept with Michael!?!?!?! Oh, wow... Amanda goes on to say that they were business partners, not friends, and that Sydney got a little greedy when it came to the scam they were running, which consisted of Amanda finding art and having it stolen so that Sydney could sell it. That explains why Sydney had an art gallery all of a sudden... Amanda ends the convo with letting it be known that she will do whatever it takes to get her painting back. Hmmm... Did Amanda have Sydney whacked?

The Foursome Finally Comes To An End

Ella stops by Jonah and Riley's apartment to make up with Jonah, who is still pissed. That is until Ella presents Jonah with a big pitch meeting with a big producer named Curtis Heller. Jonah takes the pitch as a peace offering, but reminds Ella that it has to take place before 4pm that day, because he has to leave for Vegas then to get married. Ella is stunned for minute, but gains enough composure to congratulate Jonah and to tell him to have Elvis marry him and Riley.

Later, Riley goes to visit Auggie to apologize about turning him in, which he forgives, cause he's in love. But he wants to catch up by running, which Riley turns down because of her and Jonah getting hitched. Auggie tries to talk Riley out of making a mistake by marrying Jonah, but Riley gets pissed and leaves.

Jonah packs his bags, but realizes that Riley hasn't went crazy packing hers. He automatically thinks that Riley is worried about her mother, but she tells him that's not the case. While packing, Jonah gets the call for the pitch and meets Ella at the hotel with Carl Heller. Jonah almost loses the pitch, but Ella rescues it and Jonah does his thing. But Heller looks bored out his mind. Uh, oh... A little while later, Ella sends Jonah off to go elope.

Later that night, Riley and Jonah work on the car to make sure everything is legit. While Jonah talks about the trip and them getting married, Ella shows up with news that Heller actually wants to buy Jonah's movie. The three friends celebrate before Ella lets Jonah know that Heller wants to see him on Thursday, which cuts into the couple's wedding plans. Jonah thinks that is fine and they can be back before then. Then Jonah says that he can work on his pitch in Vegas, but Riley declares he will be preoccupied and distracted. Riley then surmises that they can postpone the wedding and Jonah can do his pitch. Jonah is not happy about this. Ella leaves and Jonah asks Riley what is really up since she is willing to let the wedding go so easily. Riley then says that she doesn't know about getting married now, because she is at a crossroads and don't know what she wants to do with herself. So Jonah helps her out. He dumps her and stalks off in the streets of L.A.

Jonah finds himself at Ella's hotel room and he says that Ella was right and that Riley is not the right girl for him. He needs someone that believes in him and understands him. Um, isn't that what Riley was doing by putting your career first? I'm confused. But Ella isn't as Jonah kisses her and the two of them go at it. When Ella asks if Jonah is sure, he says he is. Bastard.

Riley is at home with the aftermath of the 'Who Killed Sydney" mystery and Auggie shows up. She tells him the news and Auggie says he knew that Jonah was not the man for her and that it's for the best. Riley says that he is wrong about anything for the best and Auggie kisses her. She pushes him off her and tells him to leave.

Lauren's Dilemma

Lauren meets Rick at the hotel room and while he wants to get intimate, Lauren wants to keep it extremely business. Rick produces some drug called "nexus" that is supposed to make sex even more mind exploding, but Lauren says she doesn't do drugs. But after the sex is over with, Lauren is sick. So sick, in fact, that she collapses, her skin starts to pale and she shakes uncontrollably at times. Rick admits to slipping her some of the drug in her drink, but thinks Lauren had too much to drink. His dumbass doesn't think, though, that Lauren could either be allergic or that he might've gave her too much. Lauren tells him to leave, before she collapses again. David calls her and she begs for him to help her. She gives him the address and room number of her location. Her cover is soooooo blown now. David gets the medical doctors to help, but they tell him that she might've had an overdose on something... We last see Lauren either having her stomach pumped or something and David tearfully watching the procedure.

Now... Who. Killed. SYDNEY?!?!

Vanessa Mancini (guest star Brooke Burns) visits Michael in jail and she asks why did he kill Sydney, but Michael knows who really killed Sydney Andrews: Vanessa.

Huh?

While she (and I) ask him what the hell is he talking about, Michael says that he came to see Sydney and found her dead in the pool and Vanessa running away from the crime scene. He picked up the necklace to save his family so that Noah wouldn't be traumatized by his mother going to jail.

AHAA!!!! Vanessa plays dumb, but Michael declares that when the prints come back on the necklace, Vanessa is toast.

Michael then makes a call to David convince him that Vanessa is the killer and to get Noah before Vanessa skips town with him. David goes and does just that, but when Lauren calls, the only person at the apartments left to watch Noah is Violet. When David stops by to see her, Violet is painting a huge ass picture of Auggie in Pollack form. Noah recognized Violet from baby-sitting, but she plays it off. David then stupidly tells Violet to not let Vanessa find Noah, because she was the one who killed Sydney.

Crazy Violet is initiated and ready for action.

Vanessa shows up in the courtyard later and she flashbacks to the night of the murder.

Vanessa stopped by Sydney's and the two women bitch at each other. Vanessa sees David knocked out in Sydney's bed and calls Sydney a whore, which Sydney throws back at Vanessa since Vanessa slept with David as well!!!! WHAT!?!?!? Vanessa says she screwed with David before she met Michael and that doesn't count, but Sydney has Vanessa figured out. See Vanessa slept with David five years ago. Noah is five years old. Skankish slut!!!! So basically David is actually Noah's father!!!!!! Vanessa pushes Sydney hard and the two bitches go at it. Vanessa gets the upper hand and finds the knife that Sydney stabbed Auggie with and stabs Sydney in the shoulder. Sydney fights her off and runs from the apartment. When she reaches the courtyard, Vanessa serves the death blow in Sydney's back and Sydney falls in the pool, dead.

Vanessa comes back to the present and hears Noah's voice coming from Violet's apartment. When she knocks on the door, Violet answers, but doesn't let Vanessa in. Vanessa recognizes Violet as well and demands to know where Noah is. Violet feigns ignorance, which infuriates Vanessa, who tries to force her way into Violet's apartment. This is when Violet reveals that she knows that Vanessa killed her mother, the last person who ever loved her, and then we flashback to the night of the murder.

Sydney stops by Violet's apartment and Violet thinks Sydney is about to kick her out, but Sydney has actually come to reconcile and admit that Violet is her daughter. Sydney claims that turning her back on Violet was the worst mistake of her life and she wants to get to know her. She hugs Violet and Violet is happy.

Flash to present and Vanessa gets crazy and pulls a gun on Violet. Bad move! Violet tackles Vanessa and the two land in the pool and they struggle until Violet gets the upper hand. While all this is going on, Amanda walks in and witnesses Violet bashing Vanessa's head against the pool and strangling her in anger. Vanessa dies and Violet is in total shock. Amanda snaps out of it and runs to calm Violet, who simply says: "She killed my mom."

The police arrive and Det. Rodriguez arrives and asks Violet if Vanessa attacked her. Amanda jumps in and says that Violet actedin self-defense and that she saw everything, which is kind of true. After Det. Rodriguez leaves, Violet thanks Amanda, saying that she doesn't know how to repay her. Amanda, through a knowing smile, responds that Violet will find a way one day to do just that.

Hmmm....

Violet later sees Auggie kissing Riley and sadly walks away.

Conclusions

- Amanda calls someone to get to the apartments the next day so they can look for the painting in each person's apartment. She looks out into the courtyard and sees Violet burning the picture she made of Auggie. Goodbye, Violet!!!!! You will be sorely missed!!

- Auggie sits rocking and slightly praying, but he can't hold it for long. He grabs the bottle in front of him and takes a hard swig and he has officially fallen off the wagon. Goodbye, Auggie!!! Take care and come see us now!

- While Jonah and Ella get busy in the hotel room, Riley tearfully watches the video Jonah made for their anniversary back in the pilot episode.

Mail Call!

- So Vanessa killed Sydney. Did NOT see that coming! I  like the ending and it all makes sense, but with both Sydney and Vanessa dead, will Michael and David ever find out Noah's true paternity?

- So pissed at Lauren's john, the dumb prick. If she dies, then he killed her. I would've at least made sure that she got help, but then I wouldn't have used the drugs in the first place so...

- Jonah and Ella... Don't know if I like that right now.

- Still hate Jonah. If my girl was OK to postpone our wedding so I could get my career started and take care of her, then I would have been ready to marry her even more! Now, Riley was screwed up, but I didn't think that her wanting him to make his meeting with the producer should have been the catalyst of their split. Maybe if they had gotten to Vegas and Riley showed some signs of pause, then I would have bought that. But movie career over a last minute wedding plan? No brainer.

Well, guys, this was the last new Melrose Place of 2009. What did you think? Did you hate it? Did you like it? Are you content on knowing who killed Syd and why? Get at me! And I will see you in 2010!!!

Melrose Place 1.12 "San Vicente" Recap

The Fall finale of Melrose Place airs on December 8th and theCW has released two sneak peeks.  The first one is a flashback to Amanda and Sydney's final meeting (I think).  Be warned, it's very spoilery and reveals what Amanda has been trying to get back from Sydney.  The second one is a confrontation between Riley and Jonah.  Things are not going well for those two.

Jonah (Michael Rady) and Riley (Jessica Lucas) decide to head to Las Vegas to elope but the day doesn’t quite go as planned.  Ella (Katie Cassidy) arranges a pitch meeting for Jonah with an important producer who is interested in buying his film.

Meanwhile, Lauren (Stephanie Jacobsen) calls David (Shaun Sipos) after she gets in trouble with one of her male clients and Auggie (Colin Egglesfield) confesses his true feelings for Riley.

Also, Michael (Thomas Calabro) gives David information about Sydney’ killer and Amanda bonds with Violet (Ashlee Simpson-Wentz) over Sydney, but of course Amanda has an ulterior motive in getting to know Violet.

2 Sneak Peeks - Melrose Place 1.12 "San Vincente"

Did anyone think that Melrose finally ramped up the volume on the crazy last night? Well, I sure as hell did! We had a psychotic ex-boyfriend/brother, backstabbing friends, scheming fathers and scheming sons, and the search for what is slowly becoming the Holy Grail for our beloved Amanda Woodward. No not the item that she is looking for, but the reason behind her canoodling with Sydney Andrews in keeping said item. What in God's name could prompt Amanda trust Sydney of all people? I still have scientists and other scientific working on that paradox as we speak. Until we find that answer, how about that recap? Update: I BET I found that answer!!!! Read after the recap!!!!!

The Set Up

Everyone in LA is either getting some lovin', about to get some lovin, or is about to postpone the lovin'. David and Lauren return home from a concert date, but have to end it at the door due to Lauren having to do rounds in the morning. I doubt that, but Ok. Jonah prepares for his first day as an IT analyst for WPK that Ella pulled for him. He and Riley engage in some lovin' after Riley complains about not having a job any more. Michael Mancini returns home to Vanessa, who immediately ruins the foreplay by saying that she found David snooping around again. Michael immediately becomes worried and after he goes outside to check his car and finds Sydney's necklace is missing, he gets angry.

But Michael might have bigger fish to fry. Amanda is back in town and she is hellbent on finding that item and it seems that she has access to every resident of Melrose Place and maybe the entire LA area. She comes across Michael's information and her peripheral is set to "stun". Amanda Woodward with that much damn power? God Help Us All...

Amanda Woodward and the Quest for the Missing Object!

Amanda stops by Michael's place to see if he has any clue of the whereabouts of her secret object. The reunion had a few quibs and I giggle with glee. Amanda reveals that she and Sydney stayed in touch until Syd's murder which, like I said before, bewilders me to no end. Michael doesn't know what Amanda is talking about a directs her to David, who makes it known that he doesn't care too much about any of his dad's past associates. He also tells Amanda, who knows about David's knack for stealing, that he would've helped her if she hadn't accused him of being a thief. Son, don't toy with a snake. Amanda immediately doesn't hesitate to strike and warns David that the police would love to hear about David's part-time hobby. I wonder what does she have on everyone else?

Liar, Liar! Ella Gets "Fired!"

Jonah meets Ella at WPK and after an icy introduction from Amanda, Ella puts Jonah to work. But Jonah makes it known that he is there for work, not Ella's boy toy. I am sure Ella was over Jonah. Did I mention that I am seriously starting to dislike him? I did? Ok. Just checking.

When Jonah cracks into the mainframe he discovers that he can find just about any and everything in the server via email, video chats, etc. Ella then asks for a favor: find out what Amanda has on her. Jonah plays Moral Orel, but he eventually does the deed. Turns out that Amanda only needs Ella to land more profitable clients and that's it. I think that Jonah didn't look hard enough, but that's me. While I was wondering if Jonah would come across the fact that Amanda got Riley fired while sifting through the files, he instead finds an email from Ella to Caleb, which consisted of applauding Caleb for giving the Boomkat video shoot credit to the other director and not Jonah and that it was a "good thing".

Jonah is livid. I could care less.

Meanwhile, Ella bumps into Amanda who notices that Ella is busting her ass and it shows. But Amanda also tells Ella that her computer is rigged to know if anyone tried or succeeds to crack into her computer. She gives Ella a verbal 'warning' and sends the Mini-Me on her way.

Later, Jonah finally confronts Ella, who is really sorry about the whole thing, but Jonah has had it. He doesn't trust her anymore and declares that as his publicist, motivational speaker, and friend, Ella is 'fired'.

As if WPK cares...

Riley Gets Involved In Violet's Most Craziest Moment of the Week Yet!

So while Jonah is at work getting his feelings hurt, Riley gets bored with domestic life and who is at her door to spice things up? Our resident red head crazy, Violet, who doesn't disappoint and brings the crazy dead on as she repays Riley for bailing her out of jail that one time. After that is over, she creepily berates Riley for not sticking up for Auggie and for ratting him out. I am scared for Riley at this moment, but she manages to escape Violet's eye daggers to live another day.

Later while working at Coal, Violet is shocked to see her "brother" Levi show up from Ohio, which leads me to think that the writers have a fascination for Levi Johnston for using that name. But that's not the most frakked up thing about this reunion. Levi wants Violet to come and that their parents will understand why she left. Violet doesn't want to go back, because after finding her birth mother, she found herself in LA. Hmmm. Right... Auggie must've put it down nice, hard, and right. But then Levi grabs Violet's hand and asks to come back for him. Eh. Eh. EWWWW!!!

Violet tries to tell him that what they did was not right, but Levi says that they are far gone looking at the immoral complications in their past relationship. He says he wants to stay with her, but Violet says no. But that doesn't stop Violet from finding the crazy bastard in her apartment fixing her sink. Violet freaks and asks him to leave, but he doesn't want to. Levi offers the money she owes him (which he paid back to their "Dad" to cover Violet stealing it) as cover for rent, but Violet still says no sale. Then before Levi gets physical, Riley pops up out of nowhere having heard the whole conversation and offers Levi the money to bounce. Before leaving, Levi tells Riley that Violet's a manipulative bitch. Um, Duh! The two discuss Auggie (who is MIA mind you) and they call a truce.

Later, Riley returns home and Levi barges in and starts trashing Jonah's film equipment, demanding who the hell is Auggie. When Violet shows up with a bat and Riley has her finger on Send to call 911 to make Levi leaves, he smashes Jonah's camera!!!! Jonah's moneymaker! Jonah's LIFE!!!!! Levi then storms out.

Sorry, but if that was my camera, he would be one dead son of a bitch. I will give Jonah leeway as a fellow filmmaker, because he has EVERY right to bitch now.

When Jonah comes home, he is rightfully devastated and tells Riley that Violet is trouble and so is Ella. The two make up for know, but Jonah is going to feel that camera in the morning and is going to see RED!

Like Father, Like Son

David is on his way to turn in the evidence that he has on his father, but Michael drives up and decides to have a father/son chat with David, who isn't scared of his father and makes that point known. But Michael goes dark and mentions Lauren's performance at work. In other words, if David doesn't back off then Lauren's career is in jeopardy. That's the Michael Mancini I know and hate!

David goes to Det. Buzz Killingto (aka Det. Rodriguez) about the necklace, but Det. Rodriguez  says the case is out their hands since they got Auggie for the murder. Then he also includes that since the necklace was stolen, its inadmissible in court. David comes up with a plan. He tells Lauren to watch her back at the hospital, but she doesn't believe him and only sees good in Michael. Somebody smack this bitch, STAT!

Later, Mancini gets in Lauren's ass about nearly killing one of his patients by giving them the wrong meds. Lauren is ashamed, even if she feels that she was right in her job.  She calls David and he tries to get to her again about Mancini, but she realizes that David stole the evidence against him and she feels a little sour about that tidbit.

A few moments later, Lauren goes to Mancini and tells him everything that David told her about the necklace, the murder connections, etc. A complete Benedict Arnold. Mancini thanks Lauren for the info.

Later as Michael is snooping in David's apartment, he finds the necklace. As soon as he pockets it, Det. Rodriguez appears as do other cops and arrest Michael on the spot. Det. Rodriguez tells Michael that they got a tip of a burglary and then I am like AHA!!!! SET UP!

But I doubt this murder is far from solved...

Conclusion

David thanks Lauren for trusting him, Ella and Jonah are still not talking, and David calls everyone together for a toast to clearing Auggie's name (who is still nowhere to be found) and sending his dad up the river. Then Amanda walks in with news that she is moving in Sydney's old apartment until her Bel Air home is finished. She also states that she can't wait to be a part of their lives.

That's code for "I have dirt on each and everyone of you and your souls are mine!"

- Violet screws her adopted "brother" and he wants more of it. I don't know who is more insane in that equation.

- Ella actually wanted Caleb to give the Boomkat video credit to the original flake of a director over Jonah? Highly doubt it. If anything, Ella was kissing Caleb's ass in that email, which is something Jonah should have thought about and will have to get used to if he wants to make it in Hollywood

- When will Riley learn to stop helping the bad boys and bad girls and just become one of them?

- Amanda and Michael's scene. Talk about killing them softly with a smile!

- Michael is so not the killer. Now that Levi is in the picture, I can see someone got a little jealous and went a little knife happy after seeing the object of their affection be turned down by her newfound mommy. But that would not work well with the overall story if they brought in someone last minute to be the culprit.

- Did Auggie leave town already? Hmmm... They said they had him in custody, but why?

- Amanda moves into the apartment complex 'temporarily'. My ASS!

WAIT!!!! Amanda's looking for the DEED TO MELROSE PLACE!!!!!! It makes sense! Amanda owned the place throughout the original's run and then Sydney all of a sudden is the landlord?!?! Think about it...

Melrose Place 1.11 "June" Recap

I have a love/hate relationship with the new Melrose Place - in the sense that I love to hate it.  Last night I felt some stirrings of amusement at the episode because I like Heather Locklear on the show, as well as David and Lauren's scheming.  Let's see if the show can hold my attention a bit longer.  Like on the December 8th episode, for example, will be the Fall finale (and, I believe, the last we shall see of Ashlee Simpson and that dude who plays Auggie).  Check out the promo below from theCW.
