Modern Family 4.11 "New Years Eve" Sneak Peek
After a four week hiatus for the holidays, Modern Family is back tonight with an all new episode, “New Year’s Eve.” On its first episode back, (which is a little bit behind with the holidays, but we’re willing to ignore the timing for a good laugh) the family (sans kids) heads to Palm Springs to spend New Year’s Eve all together at a hotel recommended by Jay (Ed O’Neill) from his heyday.
When the place turns out to be less than luxury, the group begins to break up and go their separate ways. Even Gloria, who is outraged that there are no grapes available for her traditional midnight grape eating, head off leaving Jay on his own. A bit of a letdown after being so excited for the trip, Jay is feeling a bit blue until he runs into guest stars, Billy Dee Williams and Lainie Kazan.
In the meantime, Haley (Sarah Hyland) and Alex (Ariel Winter) have been left at home to watch over the younger kids. Although they begin their babysitting task confident enough, it turns out that keeping tabs on all the kids might be harder than they expected.
