It’s back, people! ABC’s Modern Family returns tomorrow night with an all new episode entitled “Boys Night.” Set your DVR for 9pm Eastern and remember, they like to sneak an extra minute onto the back end of the show – you don’t want to miss a moment of this one!
Here’s what I know. Jay ends up at the same bar where Mitchell and Cameron are having “boys’ night out” with all of their gay friends. They guys are an absolute hoot (Nathan Lane once again guest stars as friend, Pepper), and in spite of Mitchell’s trepidation at inviting him over to the table, he squeezes in and joins the crowd. The clip I saw has only the very beginning of the event, but the pictures sure make it look like the evening is a rousing success. That’s what I love about Jay, he can complain like crazy, but the guy always manages to make a good time wherever he goes.
Phil and Claire decide to play a game of baseball in their incredibly small back yard. The game lasts two swings when Claire hits the ball over their fence and into their crotchety old neighbor, Mr. Kleezak’s, yard. Everyone’s afraid to ask him for the ball, so the game is over. Not one to be deterred, Luke walks over to Mr. Keeezak’s house, rings the bell and then spends the next 50 seconds or so in a conversation that made me choke on my coffee. Hilarious!!
I’m telling you, DO NOT MISS this episode. If I’m laughing out loud during a one minute clip, it has to be good, right??
