I feel like I’ve had some Harry Potter withdrawal lately.   We were on a nice run a few weeks ago with a bunch of new Harry Potter themed products that had just come out.   But don’t worry folks.  Today’s feature will more than make up for lost time.  Of all of the most successful film franchises in the world, very few hold a candle to the incredible amount of detail that the Harry Potter movies used.  The only one I know of is Lord of the Rings.    The amount of precision in those films is unmatched.  But like I said, Harry Potter is just as good.

For example, did you know that in the chess scene each one of those figures weighed 500 lbs?  Yup.  There were zero expenses spared in order to make these films look as real as possible.  And it showed.  It’s the reason these movies were so successful.  Anyone can adapt a book but these films turned the Harry Potter book series into real life is something people will talk about for decades to come.
