If you were to ask me 20 years ago, “what’s the internet for?” I would have said “it’s a great place for getting information without having to leave your home. You are connected to various portals that can help you find stuff and occasionally you’ll be entertained.” If you’re asking me today what the internet is for I’ll say “it’s for making videos that replace world famous singers with the voices of parrots.”
Seriously, that’s what I thought of when I first saw this video. My immediate reaction was “this is what the internet is for.” Why someone would A. Take the time to train their parrot for this and B. Choose this particular song for this project, is beyond me. But this is the day and age we live in folks.
Instead of reading a book and learning a skill a real person trained their parrot to do Rihanna’s part in Eminem’s song “The Monster.” You might thinking I’m poking fun at this person but to tell you the truth I’m pretty impressed. If a guy like PewDiePie is making millions on Youtube then why not the guy who trained this parrot?
I don’t think Rihanna has much to worry about here. Check out this video and then go learn something.
