madmen2Previously on Mad Men:  Betty and Henry have a thing for each other, Roger and Joan had a thing for each other, Don had a thing where he was Dick Whitman, Roger's daughter Margaret hates Jane just like the rest of us and doesn't want her at her wedding, Peggy and Duck grossed us out, and Pryce made Pete and Ken dualing heads of accounts.

Pete is sleeping on his office couch in his coat.  His secretary delivers him some hot cocoa, also wearing her coat.  He takes it, but complains it's not made with milk, and that it's colder in there than outside.  Careful, he might shoot you with that gun he still has propped in the corner.  Or maybe that's a subtle visual cue of later events. He catches himself and apologizes for his rudeness, and they agree the building maintenance will fix the heat.  He heads off to meet with Pryce.

Pryce is sipping some tea.  He greets him, then gets right down to business:  Ken is Senior Vice President in charge of account services, and Pete will be head of account management.  I guess some things never change since those titles and nearly as indecipherable as their modern counterparts.  Pete is disappointed, but doesn't throw a hissy fit – at least not in front of Pryce.

Pete heads back to his office, glaring at Ken along the way.  He grabs his briefcase, growls that he doesn't feel well, and leaves for the day.

Peggy and her roommate (who we saw once and are only just seeing again, so if you're confused, don't worry), are coming back from lunch.  Karen, the roommate, doesn't like Duck, and doesn't understand why Peggy is bothering if he's married.  Pete gets off the elevator as Peggy gets on.
