Peggy and Paul are roasting in her office. The heat's fixed! They're interupted by a call from Duck, who's around the corner and ready for lovin'. Barf. Paul quickly figures out what's going on by refusing to leave. Heh. He calls her on her "nooner" and she's shocked and offended. Puh-LEEZE, Peggy! Don't do the crime if you can't do the time.
Pete finds Harry eating at his desk. He asks if Harry can turn off the TV, and Harry says, "Not really," since it's his job to watch commercials and all. Pete asks him if he was consulted on who was head of accounts, and Harry says only after the fact. "What does it mean?" Pete asks. "It's not good," Harry replies as we hear the TV behind them say News Bulletin and the word "Dallas." Here it is, the day we all knew would come. I thought they'd save it for the season finale. Pete and Harry continue their conversation, oblivious to the TV.
Don storms into Pryce's office, complaining that Pryce won't hire the new head of the art department Don wants. Salvatore Romano is gone, Don reminds us. We didn't really need the reminder, Don, we all miss him, thanks to you. Pryce and Don go at it some more.
Duck watches Walter Cronkite and chain smokes, but when Peggy knocks, he rips the cord out of the wall and ushers her in. We're forced to watch them kiss, but thankfully, that's all.
Don and Pryce continue to butt heads. Pryce asks him if he wants to call Saint-John, and Don turns heel, muttering, "Bert Cooper still has a say around here." He leaves, and Pryce's phone rings. "What?!" he says to the caller.
