Carla serves the kids dinner, since Betty lives strictly off cigarettes.  Bobby protests he doesn't want salad, but Betty quickly interjects "Watch your tone, young man.  Carla works for me, not you."  I think that reminder was as much for Bobby as for Carla to keep her mouth shut about Henry.   She tells Carla she can head home, but before Carla can leave, Don comes home.  Betty's hand is forced, and she tells Don about Henry and the big fundraiser they're now hosting.  Carla looks eight kinds of uncomfortable, but Don doesn't care as long as he doesn't have to go.  Don goes to lie down since he had a bad day (oh, that's rich), and Carla says good night.

Sal piles up his artwork as an underling pops his head in.  "Night boss," he says, quickly leaving.  Sal covers his eyes with his hand, and I want to punch Don again.

Betty calls Henry to set up the fundraiser while Don sits in the family room behind her.  Henry gets the drift of things, and the fundraiser is set for next Tuesday.

Don pitches the new Hilton ads to Connie.  It's the whole American expansionism idea that Hilton professed earlier, only in the form of catchy ads.  "Hilton - it's the same in every language."  Don looks confident.  "It's good, it's very good.  It's clever, yet friendly - draws you in.  But what about the moon?" Connie asks.  "Excuse me?" says Don.  "There's nothing about the moon."  "Well, right now that's not an actual destination," Don replies.  Don't steal my snark, man.  "That's wasn't the point.  I said that I wanted Hilton on the moon.  I couldn't have been more clear about it," Connie replies.  Peggy and Smitty, who are also in the meeting, exchange looks.  "I'll admit I didn't understand that.  I'm sure there's a way to fit that into this," Don says, trying to cover.  Connie chuckles and then sends everyone from the room.  To their credit, Peggy, Smitty and Kurt don't leave until Don gives them the nod.  "You did not give me what I wanted.  I'm deeply disappointed Don," Connie says with real hurt in his eyes.  "This is a great campaign."  "Fine.  What'd you want from me, love?  Your work is good.  But when I say I want the moon, I expect the moon," Connie snipes, buttoning his jacket and leaving.  Don looks like someone just punched him in the face.  I guess I should thank Connie for doing my work for me.
