Once Upon a TimeABC is giving Once Upon a Time fans the chance to marathon several episodes on New Year's day, or giving newcomers to the show the chance to catch up before new episodes resume in January.

Six of the seven episodes of Once Upon a Time that aired this fall will be broadcasted on New Year's Day.  The schedule is as follows:

4:00 p.m. ET - Episode 1, "Pilot": And they lived happily ever after...or so everyone was led to believe. Emma Swan knows how to take care of herself. She's a 28-year-old bail bondsperson who's been on her own ever since she was abandoned as a baby. But when Henry -- the son she gave up years ago -- finds her, everything changes. Henry is now 10 years old and in desperate need of Emma's help. He believes that Emma actually comes from an alternate world and is Snow White and Prince Charming's missing daughter. According to his book of fairytales, they sent her away to protect her from the Evil Queen's curse, which trapped the characters of fairytale world forever, frozen in time, and brought them into our modern world.  In the premiere episode, "Pilot," not believing a word of Henry's story, Emma brings him back to Storybrooke, but finds herself drawn to this unusual boy and his strange New England town. Concerned for him, she decides to stay for a while, but soon comes to suspect that Storybrooke is more than it seems. It's a place where magic has been forgotten, but is still powerfully close...where fairytale characters are alive, even though they don't remember who they once were, and where the Evil Queen, known as Regina, is now Henry's foster mother. The epic battle for the future of all worlds is beginning, and for good to win, Emma will have to accept her destiny and fight like hell.

5:00 p.m. ET - Episode 2 "The Thing You Love the Most": Regina does everything in her power to force Emma out of Storybrooke and out of her and Henry's lives forever. Meanwhile, the chilling circumstances of how the Evil Queen released the curse upon the fairytale world is revealed.

7:00 p.m. ET - Episode 3, "Snow Falls": At Henry's urging, Emma convinces Mary Margaret to pay a visit to a comatose John Doe in the hospital and to read to him from the storybook. But Mary Margaret is stunned at the outcome of her visit. Meanwhile, back in the fairytale world, Prince Charming meets Snow White for the first time in a most unexpected way.

8:00 p.m. ET - Episode 4, "The Price of Gold": Emma tries to help a young pregnant woman escape from the clutches of Mr. Gold. Meanwhile, back in the fairytale world that was, Cinderella (Jessy Schram, "Falling Skies") makes a regrettable deal with Rumplestiltskin.

9:00 p.m. ET - Episode 6, "The Shepherd": David - aka John Doe - must choose between staying with Kathryn or leaving her to be with Mary Margaret, with whom he's fallen deeply, and inexplicably, in love; and Emma catches Sheriff Graham in a lie.  Meanwhile, back in the fairytale world that was, Prince Charming is about to encounter a life-changing event that will forever alter his destiny.

10:00 p.m. ET - Episode 7, "The Heart is a Lonely Hunter": One of the town's residents begins to remember their fairytale past, and Storybrooke mourns the loss of one of their own. Meanwhile, in the fairytale world that was, the Evil Queen attempts to find a heartless assassin to murder Snow White.

Not going to catch the marathon. Personally don't see the point as to why they are even airing the marathon. Episodes are available for download on ITunes. There's even the option for a Season Pass on the show on there. Someone can watch the episodes anytime they wanted without the commercials and they can fast forward or rewind to their heart's content. Hmm…which one would I choose if I were to even watch the episodes again or future episodes? Yeah, that was sarcasm. And, with the ratings BEFORE a 3 week break being a 2.9 during a steady 3 to 4 week decline in viewership, I seriously doubt there will be a 2nd season. If there is, it will be much shorter in length and the production budget will be severely cut. Can't blame it on sports either since it has been repeatedly proven by past years, year after year, that shows that decline like that during this sports TV season still don't recover their viewer numbers even after the sports are off the air. It's more than a little worrisome because I seriously don't think the show will recover from the decline. Matter of fact, I think the decline will get even worse. Just saying and being honest about it.

Maybe I am using my computer to work from home and I want something to play inthe background distract me from the fact that I am chained to my computer. Maybe I like this show and find it full of smart and interesting details I probably missed the first time. Maybe I find comfort in repetitive and familiar visual content. Maybe I don't have money for iTunes. Maybe I have tried the network sites and find them problematic. Maybe I want to watch TV. Maybe I want to watch a show I enjoy, on TV.

You dont' seem to like TV or this show. I hope you have something, other than "being honest" that gives you joy. I hope you have friends and family that accept you, honesty and all, for who you are and respect your personal subjective decisions. I hope your not alone and sad, not understanding that you alienate strangers and family with your negativity, as your first impression implies. Just being honest.

And/Or, some people have old compters. Running on an old operating systems that websites are NOW refusing to accommodate (even though they allowed us to use their stuff not so long ago… ie youtube). Who are on a dialup ISP because they live on a very fixed budget etc. etc. etc… However, I am glad for this ABC Marathon, and I WILL be watching. TY for write-up Clarissa

I really hope that there is a second season. If the ratings are low then people do not have taste!! My whole family watches this show together and we look forward to Sunday nights to watch the new episode. This TV series is excellent and I can not wait to see more!!
