Once Upon a Time Photos: Geppetto Tries to Save His Son and Regina Gets Devious
When Once Upon a Time returns from hiatus on April 22, expect to explore the theme of fathers-and-sons for a few episodes. We know that episode will focus on Rumplestiltkin and his son (view photos) and now we know that the April 29 episode, titled "The Stranger", will also feature Geppetto and his son.
The last time we really saw Geppetto in the fairytale world was the pilot, when he volunteered to help make the wardrobe to transport Emma to our world shortly after her birth. It was his invention that allowed Emma to escape when the Evil Queen transported all of the fairytale characters to our world. We'll be revisiting that time period in this episode, but it turns out that Geppetto put in a proviso: he agreed to build the wardrobe to save Snow and Charming's daughter if his son could be saved as well. Could Pinocchio have been transported to the real world too?
Meanwhile, August proves himself ever more mysterious when he offers to take Emma on a journey that could reveal a way for her to defeat Regina and maybe even regain custody of Henry. Could "The Stranger" in the episode title be referring to August in this case? Hopefully we'll learn his true identity before the season ends.
Regina is also getting increasingly frustrated after her plot to frame Mary Margaret for murder blew up in her face, so this time she'll be setting her sights on David in an effort to seduce him. But one of the photos reveals her looking pretty dejected in her foyer. Does David (rightly) reject her? We sure hope so!
