Once Upon a Time Season 2 Casting News: Lost’s Jorge Garcia to Guest Star

Here’s another piece of casting news for season 2 of Once Upon a Time: former Lost star Jorge Garcia will be making a guest appearance in an upcoming episode as the Giant.  Based on information from the Comic-Con panel, we know that show will put their own spin on the tale of Jack and the Beanstalk this coming season and it seems likely that this is where Garcia comes in.

Garcia isn’t the first Lost alumni to appear on the show, which was created by two former Lost producers (Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis).  Emilie de Ravin, who played Claire on the island drama, appeared last season as Belle and will be a series regular this season.  Garcia also joins upcoming guest stars like Sarah Bolger as Aurora and Jamie Chung as Mulan and recently starred in the Fox drama Alcatraz, which was canceled after one season.  A new preview recently surfaced showing a bit of new season 2 footage – including two guest stars for the premiere episode.

Once Upon a Time returns for its second season on Sunday, September 20 at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
