Today Showtime has launched an animated Dexter webisode series on its website.  Called Dexter: Early Cuts, the series will explain how Dexter's killing techniques evolved and explain more of his backstory.  According to Movie Web:

NBC has given official season-length pick ups to new shows, Community and Mercy and returning show, Parks and Recreation.

“We are very pleased with the critical and audience reaction to our wonderful new comedy ‘Community,’” said NBC entertainment president Angela Bromstad. “The cast and producers are delivering a first-rate, quality show that is very promising as the newest of NBC’s first-rate Thursday-night comedies.”

Fringe is currently on hiatus this week, but assuming someone wins the World Series in Game 6 (and I have absolutely no idea whether this is likely since I don't watch baseball), then the next new episode of Fringe should take place on November 5.  Thanks to Fox, we have the promo, the synopsis and a few promo photos for you.

This past week yielded some big news for the Melrose Place cast and some further explanations (warning: spoilers!). Monday's new episode of Gossip Girl will feature the opening of Chuck's new hotel (and a possible rift between Chuck and Blair).  The November 2 episode showcases Trip's congressional campaign and the return of Nate's grandfather.  Hillary Duff is still guest starring and Jimmy Fallon makes a guest appearance as himself (theCW sure love their guest stars, don't they?).  You can view the synopsis and a few promo photos below.

I can't get enough of Glee, especially the musical numbers. Fox has some behind the scenes videos of some of the various numbers and I've collected a few of them for you below. It looks like Rumer Willis will be sticking around 90210 for a little while. She appears in the promo photos for episode 2.08 and will also be appearing in the November 10 episode.
