For the first time ever, a cable network, Comedy Central, has syndicated a sitcom from another cable network, FX in this case.  Comedy Central has purchased the syndication rights to the bizarre and riotously funny It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia series from FX Channel.  The deal will begin with a limited run beginning next summer, and then beginning in 2011 the long-term deal will take effect which will include the currently airing fifth season of the show, and the already…

I don't know what can be done to save Dollhouse. Languishing in the ratings cesspool on Friday nights, Michael Ausiello has announced via Twitter that Dollhouse will be shelved by Fox during the all-important November sweeps period, replaced by reruns of House and Bones:

Exclusive: Hearing FOX will bench DOLLHOUSE for November sweeps and air back-to-back eps on Friday night in December.

The Futon Critic reports that Dollhouse will return in December showing two episodes per night, apparently burning off the remaining episodes.
