Pretty Little Liars: Questions for Season 3

Last night's reveal of "A"s" identity may have answered one question on Pretty Little Liars, but there are so many more mysteries yet to be solved. Let's take a quick glance through all of the questions we're hoping season 3 will answer.

Who are the other members of the "A" team? This question should come as no surprise, since a lot of people have suspected that "A" is more than one person. While Mona was confirmed as "A", we can't assume she was acting alone. In fact, the evidence would suggest that a network of people are involved.

Who was the mysterious person in the red coat? This person visited Mona in the hospital and was told "I did everything you asked me to do". Is this person actually the ringleader for the "A" team?

Who was the mysterious person in the black swan dress? While searching through "A's" lair in the Pretty Little Liars finale, Mona and Spencer stumbled upon the design of a "black swan" dress. Mona suggested that "A" might be wearing this costume. Later, the other girls spotted a woman wearing this dress at the ball. Who is this mysterious girl? Is she the same person who visited Mona in the hospital, or someone else?

What is Lucas' role in this whole situation? Lucas has always been a viable "A" suspect, at least until the show seemed to clear him earlier in the season. But last night he was spotted with both Jenna and the black swan girl at the dance. Is he actually involved in this whole mess?

What is Jenna's involvement? Jenna remains completely mysterious. She's still lying about being able to see, but she also met someone in a park and told him or her that the girls would be at the dance. Is Jenna the ringleader or just part of a larger group? Furthermore, who is the person that she met?

Why was Garrett turned in? If I had to wager a guess, I would assume that Jenna turned on Garrett either on her own initiative, or because the other members of the "A" team decided to scapegoat him. The question is why, and how much he actually knows. Plus, did he actually kill Alison?

What does Melissa really know? Melissa may have emerged as the girls' #1 as this season of Pretty Little Liars wound down, but she was all but absent from most of the finale. Mona may have turned out to be "A", but that doesn't mean Melissa is clueless about what's going on. It's clear that Melissa knows far more than she's admitting and I hope they revisit this in season 3.

What really happened to Alison? This mystery has endured since the pilot and still hasn't been adequately explained. It seems like Ian, Garrett and Jenna were all involved, but what really happened the night Alison disappeared?

Is Maya really dead? If so, who killed her? At the end of the episode, the girls stumbled upon a very familiar scene: the police were wheeling someone's body out of a house. Emily's mother had to deliver the bad news to her daughter: they thought the body belonged to Maya. Emily was heartbroken. But who killed Maya? Is her murder connected, in any way, to Alison? This new murder seems like one of the central mysteries for season 3.
