I have declared never to watch tv shows again! All of the best shows are being cancelled now including my favorite Primeval. At least they ended with their best episode yet, unfortunately we will never know how it ends. Is there a petition I can sign to bring this amazing show back?

I figure what is the point in watching a good tv show, just so I can be disappointed when they end with a bang. (Kyle XY, Supernatural) Instead they keep The Hills and Im a Celebrity. Well Im done! No more tv = No more disappointment.

You know….The first sentence of the article starts with Their "Popular" show.. Yes..Popular. Which means that people are actually watching it and like it. I can not believe that in the rougher times that people are in..They would cancel a show that is beyond better than 90 percent of the shows worldwide. I live in the US and I prefer primeval to almost everything. The show was original, great cast, great writing, had awesome effects for a tv show, etc. Luckily theres still torchwood…But theyll prolly cancel that to next. WTF ITV!! You guys have a terrible business plan..No bonuses for you!!

How incredibly frustrating – one of the few shows that I bother to watch, and it is deemed "too expensive" to make, and therefore must be jettisoned. Perhaps ITV has not heard, or forgotten the old adage "You get what you pay for…"

Do those in charge realize that those of us who watched Primevil have a fair amount of disposable income, and can take that income and go to other channels with other advertisers / sponsors? Not all of us can stomach "American Idol" and all its UK equivalents for those with IQs below 70…

Of course it's being cancelled. It's a reasonably decent TV show. At this rate, the only thing I'm going to be watching will be documentaries – the REAL reality shows, not the cr@p that calls itself "reality".

The assorted Network Execs wonder why TV viewing has dropped so drastically on their stations. I can tell them. "Stop showing cr@p and dumping decent shows, and maybe we'll watch."

Monsters, mystery, and drop-dead gorgeous characters for both sexes for a change. There's the fantasy part for me, so much male beauty…(and yes Ben Miller and Andrew-Lee Potts I defintely include both of you.)

Primeval, I will miss you. An original premise like this one was too sweet for this mortal plane. Not to mention chair-clenching action. Can we please just have slightly less expensive and incredible-looking dinos and still hear the story? It's a sacrifice I'd make if I could.

Ah well, all good things…

So the first vaguely decent program that ITV have come up with for ages and they've decided to cancel it because its too expensive! Yes we know its cheaper to make crappy "reality" TV shows. After all you don't need script writers, actors, stunt men, special effects, in fact all you need is a few performing monkeys, a camera man and some washed up ex soap star to present it and you've got a show…… for cretins!

So whats it gonna be replaced with? Britain's got retards? Big Dickhead? I'm a celebrity when I get out of here? Pro-celebrity formation stunt bike racing on ice? Or a documentary series about the work of the country wide sperm bank network? Theres enough tossers on TV these days so they might as well lump them together in their own program!

Of course they did. I just started watching it a couple months ago. It’s cheesy but fun. It’s definitely BBC (shot the same way as Torchwood) but with dinosaurs coming through space/time rifts. I hope it sticks around long enough on Space that I can catch up on repeats before it disappears.
