TV Ratings: 'The Big Bang Theory,' 'The Mentalist' Win Last Thursday in 2010
A day before New Year's Eve, CBS took the lead in both age categories. FOX reached the second highest viewership followed by ABC, NBC and The CW. In adults 18-49, NBC came in second followed by FOX, ABC and The CW.
Reruns of The Big Bang Theory (9.06 million viewers; A18-49: 2.3/8) and $#*! My Dad Says (7.26 million viewers; A18-49: 1.8/6) led the 8pm hour at a dominant note. Anymore, The Big Bang Theory left Thursday as highest rated program in adults 18-49.
Next was a repeat of Happy New Year, Charlie Brown (4.92 million viewers; A18-49: 1.2/4) followed by reruns of Bones (5.21 million viewers; A18-49: 1.1/4), 30 Rock (2.97 million viewers; A18-49: 1.1/4), Community (2.78 million viewers; A18-49: 0.9/3) and The Vampire Diaries (1.19 million viewers; A18-49: 0.4/1).
At 9pm, a rerun of The Office (3.87 million viewers; A18-49: 1.7/5) was top rated program among adults 18-49 followed by repeats of CSI (9.19 million viewers; A18-49: 1.6/5), Outsourced (3.22 million viewers; A18-49: 1.2/4), Bones (4.54 million viewers; A18-49: 1.1/3), Grey's Anatomy (3.04 million viewers; A18-49: 0.8/2) and Nikita (1.34 million viewers; A18-49: 0.4/1).
On top at 10pm was a rerun of The Mentalist (9.93 million viewers; A18-49: 1.6/5), which claimed the highest viewership on Thursday, followed by repeats of Outsourced (3.22 million viewers; A18-49: 1.2/4), The Office (2.77 million viewers; A18-49: 1.2/4) and Private Practice (2.74 million viewers; A18-49: 0.8/2).
