We had quite a few developments in the midseason finale of Revenge last week.  Emily called on her mentor for help, but he warned her against getting emotionally attached to her marks and anyone else involved in her scheme.  Emily kept insisting that she has no feelings for Daniel in particular, but her mentor didn't believe her and told her she was on her own.

On her own, indeed.  When Emily learned that Nolan had slept with crazy Tyler, she used that information to try and destroy Tyler.  But he blackmailed Conrad into keeping him around (because he now knows about the Graysons' part in the plot to destroy David Clarke).  And when Nolan found out that Emily had used him, he abandoned her as well.  Emily's allies are dropping like flies and Tyler is still sticking around making trouble for her.

Not to mention the fact Amanda Clarke (formerly the real Emily Thorne) is getting involved with Jack and sticking around as a thorn in Emily's side.  But now that Victoria believes Amanda Clarke has returned to the Hamptons, will her attention shift to Amanda instead of Emily?

The Graysons' divorce is also heating up, with the children taking sides.  Charlotte is still peeved at her mother and has sided with Conrad, while Daniel feels betrayed that his father kept Tyler on and vowed to Victoria that he would help her.  Speaking of Tyler, he ran out of his meds and he's about to get crazier.  For more on the previous episode, read our full review & recap.

Fortunately, Revenge is only on hiatus for a week more weeks and will return with a new episode on January 4.  The Graysons and their friends will be celebrating Daniel's birthday with a nice beach party, but it looks like the party turns sour when Tyler arrives and, according to this trailer, waves a gun around.
