Revenge Preview: Where We Left Off and What's Coming Next

Revenge finally returns tonight with all new episodes and, after such a long hiatus, its return is very welcome. If you've forgotten a few characters details since the last episode, we don't blame you. So we've put together a handy guide to help remind you where we left off with each character's story and what's in store for them going forward.

Emily Thorne. Our scheming star came to the Hamptons to get revenge on all of those who had framed and wronged her father, primarily the Grayson family. While Emily's plan worked for a while - and she destroyed the lives of many conspirators - she soon began to lose a bit of focus. Her relationship with Daniel, and her lingering feelings for Jack, took her eye off the prize. Emily also got a shock when she learned that Charlotte was her half-sister, and while she told Nolan that fact doesn't change anything, it's clear that she feels something for Charlotte. After the death at the engagement party, she soon learned that her sensei, Takeda, was unhappy with her progress, so he killed Tyler and framed Daniel to help put her back on track.

Emily has resolved not to lose sight of her master plan again, as you can see in the first sneak peek here. She's working with the Graysons to (presumably) free Daniel from prison, but she's also desperate to ensure Jack doesn't get mixed up in the investigation. An upcoming flash-back episode will show us a grown-up Emily's first impression of her targets when she attends a New Years Eve party as a waitress. She'll also be learning more about the circumstances surrounding her father's death in two upcoming episodes (read more spoilers here and here).
