Revenge Preview: Daniel's Trial Begins! Plus, Emily Learns More About Her Father's Death
Revenge finally returned from its long hiatus this week and jumped right back into the action. Daniel was wasting away in Rikers while his parents and lawyer tried to find an alternate suspect for Tyler's murder. Charlotte was unable to properly describe the hooded man she saw on the beach, but Victoria decided that making him be Jack was a good idea. Emily was worried about Jack being implicated in the murder and suggested they hire Mason Treadwell to help control the flow of information. He moved in to the Grayson home and started blogging exclusives about the situation.
When Victoria found out that Daniel could be sprung from Rikers and placed under house arrest if his life was threatened, she hired some thugs to beat him up. He suffered multiple injuries, but did end up getting released.
Declan went to great lengths to protect to protect Jack and told Treadwell that Charlotte wasn't really sure about who/what she saw on the beach because she was high. When Treadwell learned that Victoria had "stolen" his tapes, he published Declan's story, which blew Daniel's defense out of the water. But Charlotte and Declan's relationship suffered when she learned what he told Treadwell.
Victoria also rekindled a relationship with an old lover who was with her before she left him to marry Conrad. We don't have much information about Dominik yet, but it's clear that he was important to Victoria's past.
Revenge is all new on April 25 and Emily will learn the identity of the man who murdered her father. Daniel's trial also heats up, with Declan testifying in court and dealing another blow to his relationship with Charlotte.
