Showtime: Watch the Season Premieres of Shameless and Californication Here

Shameless ShowtimeFollowing their debut on an increasingly crowded Sunday night landscape, even more smothered by the Golden Globe Awards, the season premieres of Shameless and Californication have been made available to watch for free, courtesy of the Showtime Youtube channel.

When we pick back up with the Gallagher family, it's been around four months since the events of the second season finale. While Frank has somehow ended up passed out in Mexico, Fiona and Jimmy have been playing house; they might have gotten back together last season, but Fiona is already bored with Jimmy, who has become much more domesticated and much less dangerous the past few months. Part of what attracted her to Steve was his sense of spontaneity and the "line of work" he was involved in upon meeting Fiona and though she thought that she wanted the help around the house, she might have wanted a little excitement in her life more.

Meanwhile, on Californication, Hank has gotten into the world of Broadway, as Crazy Little Thing Called Love is being adapted into a stage musical. With unstable rock star Atticus Fetch at the helm of the project, it should turn out to be another memorable venture for Moody, who recently survived a drugging from former girlfriend Carrie that landed him in the hospital. Will the brush with death lead him to pursue a more stable lifestyle and career opportunities in the theater? Or is Hank Moody just going to be the way he is, Karen be damned?

Shameless airs Sundays at 9:00 on Showtime, with Californication following House of Lies at 10:30. You can check out the recently released premiere dates for the rest of the 2013 Showtime programming slate here, as well as information on their latest series commitment to Penny Dreadful here.

What can Fiona do to keep from getting bored by the newly domesticated Jimmy? How do you think the production of Hank's rock opera will go this season? Should this be the final season of Californication?
