Confession: I don't actually watch Smallville. I already spend an inordinate amount of time watching other CW shows and, despite the fact that I am technically in their target demographic, I feel like it's excessive. That being said, when I take a look at Tom Welling's completely, utterly, ridiculously hot tree-trunk arms in the photo below, I'm thinking I might have to revise my opinion and take up watching Smallville.
The CW has released promo photos and a synopsis for the season finale of Smallville, which will be airing on May 14. Check them out below. Warning: do not look directly at Tom Welling's absurdly attractive arm muscles. We don't know what will happen as a result.
IT’S CLARK VS. ZOD IN THE SEASON FINALE
Zod (Callum Blue) unleashes his army upon the world, forcing Chloe (Allison Mack) to call in reinforcements from old friends. Zod tells Lois (Erica Durance) he is The Blur and asks her to steal the Book of Rao from Clark (Tom Welling). Torn between Clark and The Blur, Lois asks Clark to come clean with her about everything but he refuses.
Chloe (Allison Mack) and Oliver (Justin Hartley) attempt to reconnect Watchtower’s satellite system in order to fight the Kandorians but to Chloe’s horror, Oliver gets caught on site and disappears. Tess attempts to stop Zod but he leaves her clinging to life. Clark and Zod battle for control of Earth. Greg Beeman directed the episode written by Turi Meyer & Al Septien.

CLARISSA DEAR…..First off, thanks for sharing these Smallville pictures. I have watched the show since it began back in 2001 and watching Tom Welling all these years has been well worth it. Just watching him portray "Clark Kent aka Superman" makes him even more attractive. Especially, when he's rescuing that damsel in distress, very hot! I totally understand what you mean by having to watch so much television, I can't seem to catch up myself even with the darn DVR. Anyway, I encourage you to take up watching Smallville (even just to watch Tom Welling lol). You won't be disappointed! :D
