Zod (Callum Blue) will be returning in an all new episode of Smallville, which will be airing on April 29. After that, there's only one new episode before the two-hour series finale on May 13.
On April 29, Justin Hartley will be directing the episode which finds Tess discovering that General Slade has been found unconscious on a street corner. This confirms her theory that someone had gained access to Phantom Zone's escape portal and sent him back. So Clark chooses to go to the exiled land to discover whether other phantoms are also escaping, and Oliver decides to accompany him, but tricks Clark into taking him along for the journey.
Clark's powers are gone in the exiled land, and they get captured by the Zoners, who are now led by Zod. Naturally, Zod is eager for revenge against the man who sent him to Kryptonian prison and is delighted to see Clark in his new kingdom.
Back in our reality, Lois makes the discovery that Clark told Tess a secret, but didn't tell her.
