We know now when will we finally see Jax, Tig, and the rest of the SAMCRO ride off into the sunset for the last time.

The series finale date for Sons of Anarchy has been revealed. The FX biker drama will finish its seven-season run on Tuesday, Dec. 2, at 10 pm. The finale will be written and directed by series creator Kurt Sutter, and the day after it airs, Sons of Anarchy fans will be able to buy Sons of Anarchy: The Official Collector’s Edition, a behind-the-scenes companion book, which will include details about all seven seasons of the show, up to and including the series finale.

With much of the promotion for the final season of Sons of Anarchy boasting the show’s signature grim reaper (even having it engraved into Jax’s back in one promo poster) and focusing on Jax’s quest for vengeance as he deals with Tara’s tragic death, many of the show’s fans have been preparing themselves for a bloodbath of a season, where they will be forced to say goodbye to some of their favorite characters as they meet their brutal, violent ends. However, according to series creator Kurt Sutter, that may not be the case, at least with regard to the members of SAMCRO.

“Two club members will be dead,” Sutter exclusively told Entertainment Weekly. “I don’t think there’ll be more than that.”

Now, keep in mind, Sutter is only talking about members of the Sons of Anarchy club. That doesn’t mean that Gemma, Unser, or any other non-club members won’t bite the dust before the curtains close on season seven.

The seventh and final season of Sons of Anarchy begins on Tuesday, Sept. 9th, on FX, with a special hour and forty-five minute long premiere episode.
