What's on TV Tonight - Tuesday October 2nd, 2012
It's October and the last few stragglers are returning to our TV sets throughout the month including most of The CW's prime time lineup, and some notable cable shows like American Horror Story, and The Walking dead. Tonight hold's very little in the way of 'premieres', but the prime time block is still saturated with new episodes as the Networks settle in to their ratings grooves. Here's what's on TV tonight:
8-10 Belongs mostly to reality with ABC's Dancing With the Stars: All-Stars two-hour results show. Who will be eliminated? We have a couple of guesses. The Voice at 8 on NBC finally emerges from a protracted blind audition phase with ... The Best of the Blind Auditions? I think fans have had enough of the auditions at this point, let's get on with the show! Elsewhere the 8pm hour belongs to drama and comedy with CBS airing a new NCIS at 8, FOX unfurling brand new Raising Hope and Ben and Kate beginning at the top of the hour, and The CW debuting a new Hart of Dixie to round things out.
At 9 CBS premieres a new NCIS: Los Angeles followed by the period piece Vegas, which is really awesome by the way. NBC Switches to a block of comedy beginning with Go On and The New Normal at 9 and 9:30 respectively, and Parenthood at 10. FOX continues its half-hour comedy block with New Girl and The Mindy Project.
At 10pm is the follow up to Sons of Anarchy's heartbreaking "Laying Pipe", "Stolen Huffy". With his moral anchor gone, how will Jax lead the Sons of Anarchy in a time of war? Tune in to FX at 10pm to find out.
