HollywoodLife.com has just got the exclusive scoop that a certain character will be making a return in episode 13 of this second season, read no further if you don't want to find out who it is.

Here is what they are reporting:

Hold onto your seats for this one, TVD fans! We’ve learned from a source on The Vampire Diaries set that actor David Anders will be returning to the show for episode 213. Not only that, but his character, John Gilbert, knows how to kill Elijah — the vampire who is after his daughter, Elena.

I was hoping that we would see the return of Anders this season who has been a favourite of mine since his delicious role of Sark on Alias and whilst his character was criminally dispatched in Heroes, I was glad to see John survive his stabbing in TVD even if this character has so far been less than appealing. It will be interesting to see what direction they will take him in and this knowledge of how to dispatch Klaus will surely make him of use to Elena et al and might endear himself to the group and fans alike. Without his ring which he gave up to Jeremy in the season opener it will be interesting to see how this will change his attitude, will there be less bravado and arrogance with this power gone? Does he also have anything to do with Elijah and Dr Martin who revealed themselves as potential allies last week?

This definitely seems  to be the week where bad uncles are announced as returning to the shows where they have previously caused mayhem and mishap with Desmond Harrington being set to return to Gossip Girl early next year. So TVD fans, what do you make of this news? Glad to see Uncle John coming back to save the day? Will he get some bonding time with Elena? Or will he end up with another knife to the gut?

The Vampire Diaries Spoilers: Who Is Coming Back To Mystic Falls?

Remember Mikhail Bakunin? I'm sure you do. He was the one-eyed Other who simply wouldn't die. That is, of course, until he blew himself up with a grenade, blowing a hole in the side of the Looking Glass and drowning Charlie Pace, though blowing himself to bits in the process.

We never really find out why the character, dubbed by fans as "Patchy," came to wear that defining patch. In fact, all we really know about his missing eye is that he's got some massive scarring over his right eye, but that's all. We don't know whether it was ripped out by the smoke monster or jabbed out by a billiards stick.

Well, for those of you who have been losing sleep over the possibility that this mystery will never be solved, you can rest easy now. You have Michael Ausiello of Entertainment Weekly to thank for this bit of news.

"Ever wonder how Mikhail lost his right eye?" Ausiello teased. "You're about to find out!" Though Ausiello wasn't willing to part with the specifics, he did state that "*** knows."

Ausiello is known for replacing important facts with asterisks, giving viewers only a taste of a potentially big revelation.

So who is this mysterious ***? All signs point to Ben, the former leader of the Others with a three-letter first name. He seems like he'd be the one to know all out Mikhail losing an eye -- after all, there isn't much about the others he doesn't know.

Who else could *** be? Well, there's the deceased Other Tom Friendly (M.C. Gainey), who has been theorized to have been on the Island since the DHARMA times (a background  character at the DHARMA motor pool sported the nametag Tom and looked sort of like a younger version of Mr. Friendly). This placement would make Tom one of the few defectors to the Others from DHARMA, and possibly make him aware of Mikhail's predicament, considering Mikhail came to Island in the early 1990's. So unless Mr. *** is someone we don't know, it's likely that Ausiello is referring to Ben, or maybe even Tom.

LOST's sixth season is set to premiere on February 2, 2010. We already know that a great deal of old faces will be coming back as a result of the great big reset, including Keamy and Omar, the mercenaries from season four, along with Mikhail.

LOST -- Mikhail Mystery To Be Solved

In what is destined to be one of the more interesting roles of next season, it appears that actress Alfre Woodard has been tapped to appear in season three of True Blood. The fifty-seven-year-old Oklahoma native will be playing quite the juicy role: that of Lafayette's mother.

Woodard, who most recently appeared in all ten episodes of the short-lived drama Three Rivers, has also been cast in the TNT pilot Delta Blues along with Jason Lee, but that shouldn't cut short her role as Mama Reynolds; her role on True Blood is a guest starring one, and not a major role, giving her plenty of time to star in Blues.

It'll be interesting to see how exactly Lafayette's mother feels about him; he is, after all, an internet porn star and a peddler of the druglike 'V.' Lafayette's mother may also have some interaction with Sookie's best friend Tara, since Tara and Lafayette are cousins (making Lafayette's mother Tara's aunt). Perhaps Mama Reynolds will console Tara after the loss of her boyfriend Eggs, which happened at the very end of season two.

Season three of True Blood has already started production, and is expected to premiere in summer 2010.

True Blood -- Alfre Woodard Cast

If you thought the car crash at the end of the fall finale of The Vampire Diaries would not have a huge impact on the rest of the season, you're completely and utterly wrong. According to actress Nina Dobrev, who plays Elena, "You don't know what's going to happen, so we're going to pick up right from there and you're gong to see what happened and what happened after that."

So what sort of things will be happening after that? We already know that Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Elena have consumated their relationship, but that doesn't mean that they're going to be all sunshine and roses for the rest of the season. It's quite the opposite, in fact.

"And, let's just say Elena and Damon are gonna hang out a little bit," Dobrev told MTV.

Damon (Ian Somerhalder), Stefan's evil vampire brother, has previously shown that he thinks Elena is attractive, but he's also shown a bit of disdain for her. That's going to change in the aftermath of the incident, apparently. But while Elena and Damon are spending so much time together, what's going to become of Stefan?

Elena recently broke up with Stefan when she found a photo of Stefan with her lookalike, Katherine, which led to her being in the car accident. Does this mean that Stefan will now follow through on his promise to leave because he's too dangerous? The only reason he didn't was because of Elena's pleas, but now that she has decided to leave him, he might indeed hit the road, leaving the field open for Damon to swoop in.

The Vampire Diaries will return to the CW in January, where it will run through twelve more episodes, finishing the first season of the series, which will comprise of twenty-two episodes. The next new episode will air on January 21, 2010.

The Vampire Diaries -- Elena and Damon

Can you say  "Peter's going to find out where he's really from?"

It's a bit of a mouthful, I know, but it's also the truth. They've been building up to this big reveal since the season one finale, when we first found out that the Peter from this universe had died, and that Walter had brought the Peter we all know over from the alternate universe. Now, we'll possibly see a little more of the Bishop family history with the casting of Walter's wife and Peter's mother, an as-yet unnamed Mrs. Bishop.

She will be portrayed by Irish actress Orla Brady, according to Entertainment Weekly.

If you're asking 'Orla who?', well, there's no real definining work for the actress. In addition to appearing in all six episodes of the TV miniseries Revelation (which aired on NBC in 2005), Brady is also memorable (for those who watch the show) as James Woods’ ex on Shark.

Though Brady may not be a household name, her character will reportedly be pivotal to the series. We still haven't found out exactly where she is while Walter and Peter are off investigating, but it's likely that we will find out when Brady makes her Fringe debut when the series resumes in January.

Fringe -- Mrs. Bishop Cast

Well, if you were worried that the probable reset of the timeline would keep you from seeing some of the familiar faces we've gotten to know so far, don't fret; there are plenty of characters returning for season six.

One of these characters is Fionnula Flanagan's Eloise Hawking. According to DarkUFO, in a recent interview on the Irish talk show The Panel, Flanagan informed that she would be back as Eloise Hawking for season six, though she would only be appearing in two episodes of the final season. That's a much lesser role than she had last year in season five, when Flanagan appeared in four episodes. Flanagan had also appeared once before in season three.

However, that doesn't necessarily mean that we'll only see two episodes of Flanagan. The character of Eloise Hawking appeared in eight total episodes throughout season five, though in five of those episodes she was portrayed by younger actresses; Alexandra Krosney played the character at seventeen years old in Jughead, and Alice Evans played a forty-year-old Eloise in the last few episodes of the season.

The character of Hawking has a very rich backstory. An Other who would later leave the Island, she is the mother of one of Charles Widmore's two children. That child was Daniel Faraday, a time-travelling version of whom Eloise would shoot and kill, before he was actually born. Eloise would spend much of the rest of her life ensuring that this came to pass. She would later aid the Oceanic 6, along with Benjamin Linus, in their return to the Island, picking out Ajira Flight 316 from her off-Island DHARMA station. She also popped up after Desmond Hume turned the fail-safe key under the Swan, causing him to flash back into the past, where Hawking convinced him that the future could not be changed (something which would later come back in Desmond's predictions of Charlie's death).

LOST -- Familiar Face Returning

Fringe has another episode before it breaks for Christmas -- that's next week's "Grey Matter." FOX has been so kind as to supply us with a behind the scenes look at the episode, which heavily focuses on Newton, played by Sebastian Roche. Don't remember him? He's the head the shapeshifting soldiers re-attached earlier in the season. This is a very spoiler-heavy video (of course) so be warned.

Here are a few snippets the video let us in on:

• The head is named Thomas Jerome Newton, and he is on a mission, and "everyone is expendable" for him to reach his goal
• He's also known as the "Omegaman"
• He performs lobotomies on insane patients, and somehow makes them sane, but keeps the piece of the brain he removes
• He will kidnap Walter Bishop and attempt to get him to reveal how to open a doorway to the parallel universe

Fringe -- Behind the Scenes of 2.10

There's lots going on with ABC's freshman drama FlashForward. In addition to the premise of the show being absolutely chaotic, we also have the many, many character arcs that are going on. So, in the newest issue of TV Guide, the cast of FlashForward got together to ask the creators, husband-and-wife team David Goyer and Jessika Borsiczky, their burning questions regarding their characters and the show in general.

Star Joseph Fiennes, who plays Mark Benford, asked the duo about which came first, the Olivia's affair or Mark's drinking problem. "I can say that Mark gets an opportunity to revisit his flash with more clarity later this season. We didn’t see the entire 2 minutes and 17 seconds, but it will get rounded out. That further explains his downward spiral and the reactions it causes," Borsiczky shared. "There may be another reason why Mark drinks that has nothing to do with Lloyd or Olivia. And it may be a much more interesting reason. But we won’t explore that until the second half of the season," Goyer shared. Australian viewers know what this reason is, as they were treated to the new episode before American audiences were -- and it dropped a significant piece of information regarding Benford's relationship with another character that will leave audiences gasping for more over the Christmas hiatus.

Dominic Monaghan, who portrays the enigmatic Simon Campos, simply wanted to know if Simon was good or bad. "Simon is gray for now,"  Goyer confirmed. "I’ll tell you that Simon has new information about Somalia and the crow die-off there."

John Cho, who plays Demetri Noh, questioned about his characters lack of a flashforward, and wanted to know if he'd still have a job by the end of the season. Borsiczky hinted about the huge reveal about Demetri's fate that will be revealed in the fall finale of the show (Australian audiences know what's being referenced, and it's quite the shocker. Here's a hint: it's related to the other 'significant information' I told you about above.

Courtney B. Vance simply wanted to know about the guy in the Detroit stadium who did not fall unconsious. Goyer dodged the question, instead hinting about Red Panda Resources, an as-yet unknown organization on Mark's board. It's all the name of an official FlashForward website, similar to Lost's The Fuselage.

Finally, Cho asked another question regarding character Janis Hawk's pregnancy. "Who knocked [her up]?" he asked. "There’s more than one potential candidate. In fact, there’s still debate among the show’s writers on this question. What’s been really interesting is the reaction we’ve gotten to Janis being a pregnant lesbian. A lot of fans are in favor of it and a lot are not. A few totally can’t comprehend it. They don’t know how she can have a baby if she’s also gay. People! She’s not infertile! She’s a lesbian!" Goyer replied enthusiastically.

So there you have it. There's quite a bit of information in there, and you'll get even more information when you watch the December 3 episode, such as what happens with Lloyd tries to confess to the blackout, who killed Demetri, and what happens when Simon goes to visit the FBI. Tune in tomorrow night for the episode, which is titled "A561984." What's that mean? Let's just say it's a serial number, and leave it at that.

FlashForward -- Goyer and Borsiczky Hint at Future

True Blood's third season is still a long way away, but that doesn't mean that every once in a while there won't be a few snippets of spoilers. Like this one: Grant Bowler has been cast for a role during the season.

Does that name sound familiar? Probably because you've seen him before, whether you're a sci-fi geek or a fashion fan. Bowler appeared during Lost's fourth season as Captain Gault, the chief officer aboard the freighter that caused our Island inhabitants so much trouble. However, he was usurped by Martin Keamy, who staged a mutiny and took control. Bowler also appears on ABC's Ugly Betty, as Connor Owens, whose body was recently said to have washed ashore in Panama.

That frees Bowler up for True Blood. It's not yet known which character the New Zealand-born actor will be playing -- he was very tight-lipped about the role when he spoke to Australia's Sunday Telegraph. “Mate, it’s HBO and it’s the King," he said. "It’s the chance to work for an Oscar-winner [series creator Allan Ball] and alongside an Oscar-winner [Anna Paquin]."

Bowler won't be the first Lost alumnus to appear on True Blood. Series star Carrie Preston (Arlene Fowler), whose husband Michael Emerson plays Benjamin Linus on Lost, briefly appeared in season three as Linus' mother. Actor William Sanderson, who plays Bud Dearborne on True Blood, guest starred in Lost's fifth season as the DHARMA interrogator Oldham.

True Blood's third season is expected to premiere in the summer of 2010.

Grant Bowler joins 'True Blood'

LOST's return for the final time (cue sad music) is only a few months away. The excitement has been greatly building around the fan community, but surprisingly, the only concrete information we've been able to get regarding the final season is the episode titles, which are periodically revealed by the fansite DarkUFO.

So far, it's been revealed that the first two episodes of the season will comprise the two-hour premiere, entitled "LA X." We know that the space between the LA and the X are important, but it's still up in the air as to why.

Then, episode three is titled "What Kate Does." That's obviously a reference to the eleventh episode of season two, titled "What Kate Did." Now, in that episode, what Kate did was kill her father and become a fugitive. So will the present tense version hold up a candle to this? Possibly.

Episode four is "The Substitute," which is a synonym for "The Variable," in a loose sense. We also know that the episode is Locke-centric, though I'm not sure whether they're talking about the real Locke, or Jacob's nemesis, who is now in the guise of Locke. (Now that I think about it, he's a "substitute" for the real Locke).

Next up is the Jack-centric "Lighthouse." Not really much to extrapolate from this one.

"Sundown" will be episode 6.06, and it's rumored to revolve around Sayid -- there have been quite a few middle eastern casting calls for the episode.

6.07 is titled "Dr. Linus," and if you can't imagine who that episode centers on, then you need help.

Episode eight is the Sawyer-centric "Recon."

It was revealed today that the new episode title is "Ab Aeterno." It's rumored to be a Richard-centric. What does that phrase team? Why, in Latin, in means "since the beginning of time." That makes sense, since you can probably derive the word "eternal" from that. And guess who we've seen speaking Latin on the show before? Why, Ricardus has.

The rest of the episodes have not been revealed yet, but should be revealed in the coming months.

LOST -- Episode 6.09 Title Revealed!

Well, Sylar is indeed getting his body back -- but he's not being gentle with it. A behind-the-scenes photo of actor Zachary Quinto, who plays Sylar, revealed something very interesting that is apparently going to happen in episode 4x14 or 4x15: Sylar's going to lose an eye.

That's right -- the man had what looks like a drill bit sticking right out of his eyelid. It certainly didn't look the most pleasant, and you can't help but wonder how that little piece of shrapnel got caught in his eye.

Of course, Sylar should be able to take care of the problem using his healing ability, so it's no big deal (but the shrapnel has got to be removed first). However, this is almost a throwback to the Heroes of old, with wince-worthy gore scenes that seem to be a thing of the past (Claire's brain, anyone? Sylar's craniectomies?).

Heroes -- One-Eye Sylar

While Fringe's Observers are indeed some ambiguously moraled baldies, they’re not who the title of this article refers to. Instead, I’m referring to the head we last saw back in “Momentum Deferred.” After that one appearance, we haven’t seen a reappearance, even though we saw his head being attached to a cybernetic body at the end of the episode. Worried that the writers had forgotten about this First Wave man? Worry not. In fact, they’ve already given him a name: Newton.

“Our next interaction with Newton, our bad guy played by General Hospital’s Sebastian Roche (don’t let his soap opera past fool you — he’s a good actor), is the episode that comes right before we break for the holidays,” says executive producer Jeff Pinkner to TV Guide. He’s talking about the tenth episode of the season, “Grey Matters,” which airs December 10.

What can we expect to see from this otherworldly supersoldier? Pinkner’s not telling, though he did happen to spill the beans on an episode that’s coming after the Christmas break.

“[In the episode] They go to a town [to] investigate a fringe event that is very bizarre and realize that nothing there is what it seems…it’s all about perception and reality. Are you really seeing what is actually there?”

I can see Walter now, stumbling through the town, asking everyone around him if they remember him taking any homemade LSD. Sounds like a good episode.

In the meantime, we’ll have to settle for the two week break in between this week’s “August” and the next episode, “Snakehead.” It's going to be a long wait. We'll keep you posted on any more developments that come up.

Fringe's Bad Baldie Returning in December

Before you even attempt to read this, know that it is a spoiler article!

More filming reports are coming out of the LOST set in Hawaii.  Despite the fact that a start date hasn't yet been set for the season 6 premiere, fans can't get enough spoilers for the final season of LOST.  ABC is delighting in teasing us with season 6 promos (but with no new footage, because like they to torture us).

The most recent news coming from the Hawaii Blog is a filming report taking place in a restaurant featuring two characters.  Except one of them is dead.  With the "reset" that is supposed to take place in season 6, it's not surprising that dead characters would return (see: Charlie and Boone), but now we have word that recently-deceased Charlotte (Rebecca Mader) will be returning to the show.  And it looks like her character will be having a date with none other than the show's resident dashing con man: Sawyer.

The focus of activity was “The Lotus” (formerly the “W”), a luxury, 50-room boutique hotel, and specifically the Diamond Head Grill, a decidedly stylish and upscale lounge and restaurant. Fashionably dressed extras came and went from the set all morning. And while all the action was taking place behind closed doors, two castmembers were immediately familiar when they emerged shortly before noon.

Josh Holloway (Sawyer) was spotted, looking quite handsome, wearing black pants and a purple shirt. But his companion was an even more striking sight, in a colorful evening dress: Rebecca Mader (Charlotte).

It would be fantastic to see what a safely-landed Sawyer gets into, especially after his misadventures in Australia. But to think that he comes across feisty, red-headed, globetrotting cultural anthropologist Charlotte? Tantalizing.

LOST: Guess Who Gets Together (And a Surprise Return!)

The Vampire Diaries, the CW's newest hit, has another thirteen episodes left in its freshman season, but that doesn't mean it's going to wait until then to play heavy on the cliffhangers. TV Guide has reported that a major cliffhanger will be taking place at the end of the upcoming episode, November 19's "The Turning Point." To sweeten the pot, they offered four choices of what the cliffhanger will actually be.

Can't wait until next week's all-new Vampire Diaries? Neither can I! That's why I begged the show for some scoop to hold us over -- and man, did they ever deliver the goods! They gave away the big cliffhanger that's going to end the Nov. 19 episode. Well, sort of. You've got to guess from among these four options:

a) A human character gets shot by wooden bullets
b) Characters are involved in a life-threatening car accident
c) Stefan finally leaves Mystic Falls
d) Damon kidnaps Elena

The Vampire Diaries -- Cliffhanger Choices for Nov. 19

If you watched last night's Gossip Girl, then you know that the parties involved in the threesome were Dan, Olivia and Vanessa.  Thinking that she was leaving NYU to shoot what is likely a metaphor for the forth "Twilight" movie, Olivia figured that engaging in one last "college ritual" was a good way to cap off her tenure at college.  Now, however, the movie's been canceled (or maybe just postponed), so cue the awkwardness.

E!Online's Kristen spills some dirt about what's in store for the trio:

I'm told that after to[last night's] threeway, everything will be very messy for Dan, Olivia and Vanessa. "Things are not well," says my source, and the threesome will have repercussions for all relationships involved, and we'll see it all play out next week via flashbacks of the dirty deeds that were done dirt cheap.

Also next week, a fourth wheel comes into the mix: Lady Gaga! No, she's not actually hitting the sack for an L-O-V-D foursome (can you imagine?), but her music is the catalyst through which Dan, Olivia and Vanessa have to stay connected and work together even more closely for the time being (thanks to an assignment given to Mr. Humpey...or, make that Humphrey, sorry).

A main Gossip Girl character is going to get in a serious accident. One that will send her to the hospital. And that someone is Serena (Blake Lively).

Bones goes formal for episode 4x05 "A Night at the Bones Museum", airing October 15th.  We've got another murder connected to the Jeffersonian (such a dangerous place to work, if you ask me) and Brennan goes on a date with someone else connected to Booth (not his brother, but it'll probably get to him).  Check out the synopsis and promo photos below, courtesy of Fox.

BRENNAN AND BOOTH’S LATEST CASE COULD CHANGE HISTORY

Brennan and Booth are called to investigate what appears to be human remains on an electrical fence. The mysterious corpse is later determined to be a mummified Egyptian royal on loan to the Jeffersonian. The anthropological mystery has Brennan in a tizzy, when the Jeffersonian curator prepping the mummy for exhibition is murdered, the team suspects foul play. Brennan’s investigation of the curator sheds new light on the life of the Egyptian royal, turning their case into one of historic proportions.

Meanwhile, Brennan goes on a date with Booth’s supervisor and former intern and Sweets’ girlfriend Daisy Wick (guest star Gallo) returns to the Jeffersonian in the "Night at the Bones Museum“ episode of BONES airing Thursday, Oct. 15 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/ PT) on FOX.

Monday, October 5's episode of Gossip Girl is full of guest stars.  Tyra Banks and Hillary Duff pop by the upper East side to mingle with the cast and Jenny goes back to school (with even blonder hair than before).

It's the first day of school at Constance Billard which means it's also time for Jenny to take her rightful place as the new Queen Bee. Unfortunately for Jenny, Blair is more than happy to intervene when news reaches her that she may be needed back at Constance.

Lily returns home to Rufus and her family to find that things are definitely not as she left them.

A famous movie actress, Olivia Burke (guest star Hilary Duff), enrolls at NYU - and is assigned to be Vanessa's roommate - hoping for a somewhat normal college experience.

Tyra Banks guest stars as Ursula, an actress co-starring in Olivia's movie and someone who Serena befriends.

I love Castle.  It has everything.  Fun murders (if such a thing could exist), a terrific supporting cast and, best of all, Nathan Filion.  He's just so great at....well, everything.  Castle's next new episode airs on Monday, September 28 and it's Castle and Beckett against Ryan and Esposito (who are definitely part of that great, funny supporting cast).

We shared one sneak peak with you a few days ago for Monday's all new episode of Gossip Girl, and we've got even more now!

So it looks like there might be trouble in Chuck-Blair paradise.  Well, I can't tell if this is good or bad.  Who doesn't love to see them play their devious reindeer games?  On the other hand, don't we also love to see them together?  ARGH!  It's like Sophie's choice!

BLAIR VS. CHUCK — It’s an Upper East Side face-off when Blair (Leighton Meester) and Chuck (Ed Westwick) both set their sights on a particular item up for bid at Sotheby’s and the personal stakes are high.  Serena (Blake Lively) suspects that Carter (guest star Sebastian Stan) may be up to his old habits, Georgina (Michelle Trachtenberg) takes an interest in Dan (Penn Badgley), and Vanessa (Jessica Szohr) begins to suspect that something isn’t quite right with Scott (guest star Chris Riggi).  Chace Crawford, Taylor Momsen and Matthew Settle also star.  Jean DeSegonzac directed the episode written by Robert Hull (#303).
