If you think the relationship between the Winchester Brothers, Sam and Dean, has gone to hell - both figuratively, AND literally - wait till you see what is happening a few episodes from now. Not only will the divide between the two continue to grow in space, but in time as well. And as far as monsters of the week go, I love me a zombie holocaust Supernatural style. Here is the official down-low from TheCW.
TWO DEAN WINCHESTERS? — Sam (Jared Padalecki) tells Dean (Jensen Ackles) he wants to rejoin Dean in the battle of the Apocalypse, but Dean tells Sam that they are better off apart. Later, Dean awakens five years in the future in an abandoned city and is attacked by humans who have been infected with a demonic virus that turns humans into Zombies. Zachariah (guest star Kurt Fuller) appears to Dean and explains that this is the world that exists as a result of Dean saying no to helping the angels fight Lucifer. Dean meets up with Future Dean, who tells him that the virus is the Devil’s endgame for destroying mankind. Misha Collins also stars. Steve Boyum directed the episode written by Ben Edlund
First of all, all of the Dean fan-girls can calm down a little now because there is even more to go around. Now, focusing on the critical matter at hand... death by zombies? Wow. Demon zombies, even better! How will this vision impact Dean, though. It seems to me, knowing Dean's bravado informed pragmatism, that this vision could push the tall cool one towards a self sacrifice - unless, of course, his future self talks some sense into... er... himself.

[...] However, we don’t have to wait that long to see Dean going head to head with a whole bunch of zombies, if we’re going to believe an article posted at TV Overmind. [...]
