Here’s John Tesh Doing the Original NBA on NBC Theme at One of His Concerts

So here’s one that brings back a lot of memories, and to this day I can’t decide if I like this clip or hate it.  As you all might remember, John Tesh was pretty big time back in the late 80s and early 90s for his role in being one of the co-anchors of Entertainment Tonight.   As his popularity rose, Tesh was also honing in on his piano skills.  He parlayed his stardom in a new career in music.  Tesh definitely knows how to hit the keys.

So one day at a concert of his he was giving this silly little speech about his answering machine.  What proceeded from there was him doing a full on NBA on NBC theme for the audience.  The song is accompanied by an orchestra and sounds pretty professional.  A few things to note.

Tesh’s facial hair looks a little silly.  Not sure how I feel about his cute little vest.  And finally, would it be pretty awesome as a sports fan to hear this in concert?  I can’t say I would attend a John Tesh concert in real life but I will say that this is kind of cool.  But I’m really torn.  What do you guys think?
