I absolutely adore the makers of Stargate. They are really great guys. I loved every bit of their sg universe until it turned to a painful to watch, dark, dramatical soap opera with guys having sex in random constellations.

Brad Wright gave maureen the advice to wait for a few episodes to come. Well, i would say that was a good joke. It's getting worse, in absolutely every imagineable aspect.

Let's hope mr. wright and mr. cooper will listen to the fanbase wich is pretty much on fire over this.

I have to agree with Jon on this one. In fact, I really have been enjoying SGU so far. With that said, as I read Mo's comments there were several times that I couldn't help but think, "yep, she does have a point there." or "oh yeah, they could do that much better." I just wish they would work on some of the issues and try to make it better. Try to understand your critics issues, and then decide whether their constructive ideas you can use to make positive change, or if they're pointless and can be ignored.

I'm sorry that Brad Wright stuck his foot into it. The show producers already have alienated the fan base in the way that they canceled SGA at the same time that they announced SGU. What they don't need is for the perception to grow that they are bitter and petty and dismissive of constructive or honest criticism. Brad Wright won't win this one on so many levels because of the tone of his attack.

As a huge supporter of SGU it pains me to take a step back and actually support Mo Ryan on this. There are perfectly sound reasons to not like SGU, as there are for ANY show whether it is your favorite or not, and no-one deserves to be belittled directly for their opinion. Only indirectly. ;).

But seriously, it's a battle of opinions and nobody is going to be injured – so let them at it!
