Supernatural fans haven't been this worked up since Eric Kripke confirmed he was going to introduce a third Winchester brother in last year's "Jump The Shark." Paris Hilton is guessing on this week's episode of Supernatural, "Fallen Idol," and a lot of Supernatural fans are hopping mad about it. Indications are, though, that Hilton's cameo will be the epitome of Supernatural's legendary wit. Check out some pics and details ahead.
Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) decide to start hunting together again and their first case leads them to a small town whose inhabitants are being killed by famous dead icons like Abraham Lincoln and James Dean’s car. However, after two teenage girls come forward and claim their friend was kidnapped by Paris Hilton (in a cameo role as herself), the brothers aren’t sure what they are hunting anymore. Jim Conway directed the episode written by Julie Siege
First of all, even though Paris is playing 'herself,' rumor has it she isn't really 'herself' but a soul sucking possessed facade of herself. What could be more pleasing for Paris haters than for the celebutante to make a turn as a villain worthy of their disdain?
Kripke and crew showed incredible creativity and shrewdness when they introduced the lost Winchester brother, a story element that had been marked as the only thing they could ever do that would ruin the show forever. Bringing in Paris Hilton may be some writer's room bravado thing, for all we know. At the end of the day, though, you have to trust the Kripke-Keeper. If it couldn't be done brilliantly, he wouldn't allow it to be done at all. Tune in for Supernatural "Fallen Idols" this Thursday at 9:00pm to find out how they pull it off.
