New Canadian Promo – Supernatural 6.01 “Exile on Main Street”

After months and months of a summer without new Supernatural footage (and even part of September) we’re being inundated these past two weeks. First there was the first official Supernatural season 6 promo (here), then there were two more short ones (here). Earlier this week was the longer, darker promo with a lot of new scenes (here). Plus we have photos from the season premiere (here) and episode 6.02 (here).

So with all of that you’re probably thinking “what else can Clarissa show me that I haven’t already seen?” Well, hold on to your hats, kids, because there’s more! The SPACE channel in Canada (yeay, Canada!) has released new footage that shows more of Dean’s life as a family man.

Based on all of this footage I’m guessing the premiere goes like this…Dean’s living the family man life while Sam checks in on him every once in a while. Dean discovers something’s after him and brings Lisa and Ben to Bobby’s for safekeeping. And that’s all I got. I don’t know how Azazel fits in or how they will explain the reappearance of Grandpa Samuel, but those of you who are worried Lisa might bite it in the premiere (based on the footage below) like Mary Winchester and Jess…SPOILERS…she doesn’t, because the official synopsis for episode 6.02 has her as a guest star. END SPOILERS.

It’s a year later and Dean (Jensen Ackles) has given up hunting and is living with Lisa (guest star Cindy Sampson) and her son Ben (guest star Nicholas Elia).

Mysteriously freed from his cage in hell, Sam (Jared Padalecki) finds Dean and tells him he needs to rejoin the fight and introduces Dean to a world–a family–he never even knew existed: the Campbells, his mother’s family, lead by none other than their Grandfather Samuel (Pileggi). Phil Sgrricia directed the episode written by Sera Gamble

In the other episodes after Mary and Jess died, if there's a hallucination that somebody has of them, they are still guest stars. Lisa could still go out the same way.

That's very true – but the way that the synopsis for episode 6.02 is worded, I'm inclined to believe that Lisa remains alive. I'm also wondering whether the reappearance of Azazel is just a nightmare for Dean when the supernatural stuff starts coming back into his life.
