You know, I'm starting to think that there's more to this soulless version of Samon Supernatural than meets the eye. Can all of his suspicious behavior be entirely attributed to his lack of a soul or is it something more? I don't know. I have crazy theories running around in my head. Some of them are telling me that Soulless Sam is in league with Crowley, or that he's on some sort of power trip where he was to usurp Crowley's position as King of Hell.
Then again, I'm probably wrong. I don't like that I can't figure out his motivations anymore, but I guess that just makes everything so much more interesting. Back when he was drinking demon blood his motivations were pretty transparent, now I just don't understand his character at all.
A new episode of Supernatural will be airing this week on November 12. If you missed last week's episode, you can read our recap & review. You can also view the trailer for the upcoming episode that we posted on Friday night. Then take a look at the sneak peek from The CW below. It's scenes like this - Sam so accepting working with Crowley - that cause those crazy theories. We'll have to wait and see.
IT’S A DOG’S LIFE
Dean (Jensen Ackles) and Sam (Jared Padalecki) investigate what seems to be a werewolf killing but turns out to be a skinwalker (guest star Andrew Rothenberg) posing as a family dog who is taking revenge on his owner’s enemies.
After capturing the dog, he turns human and tells Sam and Dean that an Alpha skinwalker has created many sleeper cells that will rise on his command and kill their families. The only way to stop the mass murders is to find and kill the Alpha. Phil Sgriccia directed the episode written by Adam Glass
