It's a long, cold hiatus until Supernatural returns with new episodes on April 15 (view the trailer for some upcoming episodes). We know that the April 15 episode will feature a Greek Fate, while the April 22 episode will have the boys traveling back to the Old West.
Now we have photos that are from the upcoming episode entitled "Mommy Dearest", which I believe will be airing on April 29. Be warned, the following photos and information are spoilery!
If you've been paying attention to Twitter, you may have seen spoilers that Samantha Ferris (who played Ellen), Samantha Smith (who plays the older version of Mary Winchester) and Amber Benson (who played the vampire Lenore back in season 2, would be making return appearances in this episode. Now we have photographic proof that Ellen and Mary will definitely be returning (although we have no photos of Lenore yet).
From the photos below, we can conclude a few things and hypothesize others. First, Eve seems to have decided that the best way to destroy the world is by working as a waitress in a diner. I'm not sure why that is, but maybe it's her way of introducing herself to Sam and Dean? She and the boys will definitely meet in this episode, although I'm not sure whether they'll come across her earlier.
Ellen is back, which is, of course, odd, since she died in the middle of season 5. Since Mary is back as well (and since Dean is obviously unhappy to see her, as Bobby is with Ellen) I'm wondering whether their return is due to Eve. Maybe she brought them back (or at least something that looks like them) to throw the boys off their game?
I have a feeling we're in for some serious showdowns in the remaining episodes of season 6.

Maybe Eve as well as appearing as Eve takes the form of Mary and Ellen…both mothers and mother figures to the boys? Just thinkin….

I agree with Amy about Eve taking the form of Mary and Ellen
The sad fact if Amy is right that Eve is taking the form of Mary and Ellen then that makes me truly sad…I want to see Mary for who she really is and how she would react from Sam killing off her father…because it's not enough for Dean to say what he would think what she would say. If that's the case it proves that SUPERNATURAL is full of plot holes and if they don't cover them, the show or ship will sink…
Mary would not have been able to forgive her father for giving up her sons to a demon. As a mother you defend your children.
Absolutely agree. Mama Bears protect their young. Remember the poltergeist in Home. And Mary would have been completely pissed that Samuel made a deal for her life at the expense of her children.
