With Smallville now finished, Supernatural is currently one of the longest-running shows on The CW (with One Tree Hill being the other). But just because the show is going into its seventh season, doesn't mean we should assume this year is the end. An eighth season could very well happen.
Although, before we even consider an eighth season of Supernatural, we're going to have to get through the myriad of challenges the Winchester brothers are facing in season 7. Sam is going to have to deal with remembering what happened to him in Hell, which is going to result in a lot of mental problems for him (and a lot of concern from Dean). There's also Castiel (a.k.a. "God"), who will be big into vengeance against his real and perceived enemies when the show returns in September. With seemingly unlimited power under his control, do the Winchesters have a prayer of making sure he doesn’t go all biblical on the world? And poor Dean has once again been betrayed by someone he considers family, so I'm sure there's going to be angsting and pretty crying from him. Then, of course, there’s the fact that Crowley is still running loose (and probably plotting), the return of Death, and a new big bad to contend with this season.

How the hell are you supposed to read the article without that asinine VD ad blocking the whole thing?
Death is portrayed really well on this show (especially the great entrance scene in season 5) and I'm really looking forward to seeing more of him this season.
