So, remember that show Supernatural? Yeah, it's coming back for its sixth season on September 24 (having now moved to Fridays after Smallville). Apparently, at the recent TCA panel, CW president Dawn Ostroff said they're not approaching this like Supernatural's sixth season and hope it continues, but I guess we'll have to wait and see. The rumors are that the principal actors only signed up for six seasons, but who the heck knows what could happen. The CW has a history of long running shows (look at Smallville and One Tree Hill).
I've posted a lot of Supernatural news and spoilers lately and now the CW has put together a nice little trailer for us. Unfortunately, there's no new scenes, but it's a good summary of last season's finale to get you excited for the premiere on September 24. If I recall correctly, this is the same preview that was shown before the Nikita screening at Comic Con's Preview Night. My fellow TVOM writer Mike, who has never watched Supernatural but has listened to me gush about it many times, remarked that the show looked pretty bad-ass. Maybe Mike's pretty smart after all.
