Supernatural 8.13 Preview: Ben Edlund + Golems = Awesome

SupernaturalSam and Dean met their grandfather in this week’s Supernatural and they learned that the Winchester had a supernatural legacy as Men of Letters.

After their grandfather, Henry Winchester, came to 2013 to try and beat a demon named Abbadon, he was dismayed to learn that John grew up without a father and later died.  But he and one of his former colleagues passed on an important piece of information to the boys before they died: a key and the location to a bunker filled to the brim with supernatural knowledge.  Now the boys are off to find it and use it as their new home base (read spoilers about what’s next for the boys and this new information).  For more about the episode, read our full recap and review.

Next week’s episode, titled “Everybody Hates Hitler” is written by fan favorite Ben Edlund.  The boys are investigating the death of a Rabbi who was researching Nazi Necromancers.  They come across a Golem who belongs to the Rabbi’s grandson.  Unfortunately, the grandson has no idea how to control the dangerous Golem who is the key to solving the case.
