Supernatural Preview: Meg and Castiel Team Up With the Winchesters

SupernaturalThe Greek gods came to Supernatural tonight.  While investigating a potential zombie case, Sam and Dean came across the Titan Prometheus, who didn’t understand why he died and was resurrected each day.  Things got even more complicated when a woman (Hayley) showed up with a young boy that was Prometheus’ son who also suffered from the same curse that he did.

In order to spare the boy endless days of dying, the brothers decided to summon Zeus and ask him to remove the curse from the boy.   But while Dean was willing to play hardball with Zeus, Hayley didn’t want her son to suffer and she freed Zeus from his trap which led to him unleashing his power on the boys and Prometheus.  Sam managed to convince Artemis that stopping her father was the right thing to do and she ended up killing Zeus before disappearing.  Read our full recap and review of the episode.

Supernatural is going on hiatus for a few weeks, but when the show returns Castiel will be back from Heaven.  He tells the Winchesters that Crowley has sent several demons to a small town to look for Lucifer’s Crypt, which is said to hold a valuable asset (the Angel Tablet??).  But there’s a lot of lying going on, because Cas lies to the Winchesters about the object they’re looking for.  Later, the brothers find out that Crowley has been torturing Meg, who knows the location of the crypt.  Team Free Will reunites with Meg and while Sam and Meg team up to fight off the demons and Crowley, Dean and Castiel search for the crypt.
