As every Supernatural fan probably knows, Jensen Ackles (Dean Winchester), will be directing this week's upcoming episode (airing on October 15), entitled "Weekend at Bobby's".  Despite being episode 6.04, this episode was shot first when the cast and crew returned to Vancouver for season 6 to allow Ackles time to prep for the episode.

Playing duo roles - as Dean and director - Ackles appears in the episode alongside co-stars Jared Padalecki and Jim Beaver.  They're joined by several returning guest stars, including crossroads demon Crowley and hunter Rufus.

The cast and crew had nothing but praise for Ackles' directing skills when they appeared at Comic Con over the summer.  Now, TV Squad's Mo Ryan has a cool video showing a behind-the-scenes look at Ackles directing the episode, along with commentary from the other stars.  Mo says this will appear as a larger behind-the-scenes featurette of the episode on the season 6 DVD that will come out next year.
