Supernatural Season 5 DVD Released on September 7

If you're a Supernatural fan like me, then you won't want to miss buying a copy of the season 5 DVD or Blu-Ray, which is set to be released by Warner Home Video on September 7.  While season 5 may have been a bit uneven as the episodes veered between Apocalypse-focused and stand-alones, it still contained many noteworthy episodes, including "The End", the 100th episode "Point of No Return" and the terrific season finale "Swan Song".

Supernatural always has fun and terrific gag reels as bonuses, and season 5 isn't likely to disappoint.  Here are the details of the box set and special features:

6 discs on the DVD version, 4 discs on the Blu-ray set

Bonus Material consists of a Gag Reel, an unaired scene from Episode 9 ("The Real Ghostbusters"), a Producer/Writer Commentary Track on Episode 4 ("The End"), the "Supernatural: Apocalypse Survival Guides - Bobby's Exclusive Video Collection" and "Ghostfacers: The Web Series".

Video is widescreen, with high-def 1080p resolution on the BD version.

Audio on both versions is English Dolby Surround 5.1, with an option on the DVD for Portuguese Stereo and an option on the Blu-ray for French Stereo.

Subtitles are in Spanish, French, Portuguese, Chinese, and Thai on the DVD and are in Dutch, Spanish, French, and Portuguese on the Blu-ray.

Supernatural will be returning for season 6 in the Fall and will move to Friday nights at 9:00 p.m. on the CW.

I have to admit that I am a little dissapointed with the lack of special features listed. I mean, I was REALLY looking forward to the season having a commentary of the 100th episode. Even better if it is an actor commentary with Jensen, Jared, and Misha. According to the special features listed above, why there is only one commentary? I believe that the other seasons had at least two. Am I the only one who has noticed this and cares?

only one deleted scene?? c'mon, there was at least 1 on every DISC in the past seasons. Though I am happy they're putting the Ghostfacer's webisodes on there, they wouldn't play on my computer. D: And the gag reel better have more Misha xDDDD
