I'm freaking dying of laughter over here. During the Supernatural Comic Con panel, Jensen Ackles was asked what would be different with Dean in season 6 and a fan shouted out "he'll tuck in his shirt!" (it's the third video here). Ackles and Kripke ran with the joke, with the audience laughing along.
Now, lo and behold, the first promo photo for season 6 has been released (courtesy of big Supernatural fan Mo Ryan) and, what do you know! Dean's shirt is TUCKED IN. And it looks so weird. Untuck your shirt, Dean, then hug your grandfather and let's get back to business. These demons aren't going to kill themselves.
Mo also posted the official description of the season premiere episode, which is set to air on September 24 (yes, it's moved to Fridays, but that's not going to stop the die-hard fans from tuning in). The summary is pretty similar to the official CW release I posted yesterday.
It's a year later and Dean has given up hunting and is living with Lisa and her son Ben. Mysteriously freed from his cage in hell, Sam finds Dean and tells him he need to rejoin the fight and introduces Dean to a world -- a family -- he never even knew existed: the Campbells, his mother's family, lead by none other than their Grandfather Samuel.
Here's what I'm thinking - somehow, someway, Grandpa Samuel was transported into the present. Are the angels involved? I don't know. I'm just curious as to how they'll explain this. On the other hand, I love Mitch Pileggi, so even the flimsiest excuse for his presence will do.

I like the fact that they make Dean look like a normal human being and more domesticated; while Sam is wild and adventurous and mature all at the same time. :) Its gonna be an interesting spin to realize what brought back their grandparents.

BTW isn't it cute that both Dean and Samuel have their shirts tucked in. LOL Sorry, but it's funny to me. Dean Winchester walking in the footsteps of his Grandpa, the art of tucking in your shirt. ;D
