I have to admit, I'm dying for some solid season 7 spoilers for Supernatural and I don't want to wait another 9 days until the Supernatural panel at Comic-Con to get them.
This weekend I posted about Firefly alum Jewel Staite making a guest appearance in episode 7.03 (the one Jensen Ackles is directing). Also taking place this weekend was a Supernatural convention in New Jersey. Jensen couldn't make it, but Jared Padalecki did throw the fans a few mini spoilers about season 7. And a former guest star confirmed her return.
So do you want some tiny Supernatural spoilers for next season? If so, read on.
Updated: Want to see some great behind the scenes photos from episode 7.03? When you're done reading the spoilers before, go take a look at this article.
Sam's Wall & Memories of Hell
Several fans in attendance, including @NancyRosee, quoted Jared as saying that we will see more of what Sam went through in Hell and that season 7 is going to be scary because of Sam's new memories. In the season 6 finale, you'll recall that Castiel broke the wall in Sam's head and Sam has a little Inception moment, where he eventually forced different parts of his subconscious to remember his time in Hell, as well as the time that he had no soul. After coming out of his dream state Sam headed to where Dean and Bobby were confronting Castiel, Crowley and Raphael. Sam managed to stab Cas, but looked very unsteady on his feet. So it seems like the writers will be exploring what happened to Sam in Hell and how his new memories will be affecting his life.
The Impala
A lot of recurring characters died in the season 6 finale (including Balthazar, which I'm still kind of devastated about), but my biggest concern was the destruction of the beloved Impala. Some fans might have noticed the symmetry between the Impala being destroyed in the season 1 finale and again in the season 6 finale. But, like with season 2, Dean will be back to work on his baby...right after they figure out what to do with Castiel. One fan at the convention (@tehjessicarae) tweeted: "Jared said if the Impala survived season 1 it can survive season 6. Dean will be working on it."
Returning Guest Star
Remember Sheriff Mills who first appeared in season 5 and then made another appearance in the season 6 episode "Weekend at Bobby's"? Kim Rhodes had a panel at the convention and, as tweeted by @tiptoe39, she revealed that she will be returning for a guest appearance in season 7. I believe she heads to Vancouver around the end of July, so we should be seeing her early on in the season.
Updated: Supernatural director Guy Bee, who is directing episode 7.02, just confirmed that Kim Rhodes will be appearing in his episode (ignore how he calls it episode 703, that's only because the real episode 7.03 is being shot first).
As for those Alona Tal rumors about Jo returning for season 7, the official word is "no comment", which means no confirmation or denial. When we know more, we'll let you know.
Supernatural's seventh season will premiere on September 23. If you want to know more about the Supernatural panel at Comic-Con, click here. And make sure you check back for our coverage from the Supernatural press room and panel!

I'm excited about all of these spoilers–especially that we have confirmation there'll be follow-up to Sam's wall breaking! I can't wait to see what next season has in store with that. Now I just hope we get some Dean news at Comic-Con (besides him working on the Impala, which I'm sure to enjoy. ;) )
Because you seem to enjoy Dean working on the Impala as much as I do, I will be on the hunt for as much Dean news as I can bring you!

I was the one to ask Jared about the Impala at the NJ convention! I'm so happy to hear it will be back and we will get scenes of Dean working on it. Think he'll let Sam help this time? ;)
Alona Tal confirmed on Twitter that she will be returning in season 7
Thank you very much for the updates and mini-spoilers! One minor correction: the name of the guest actress from Firefly and Stargate Atlantis is Jewel Staite (no R). I am very much looking forward to seeing her on another of my favorite shows!
Thanks for pointing out the typo with the name!
They need to bring back Chuck to resolve the Cas ordeal.
So, nothing really worth mentioning is going to happen. Good to know.
What?? :/
These are great, can't wait for the Impala's return! It's like the third Winchester brother! lol I knew there'd be more about Sam's memories, going to be a hard season for his character. I hope they're giving Dean some of his own storylines, Jensen deserves that with his amazing acting abilities! I don't want Jo back though, I didn't like her and I want Dean to be completely free of clingy women – we had enough of domestic Dean last season and we don't want that again!!!
This show needs some strong, independent women. Like Dr. Cara Roberts-she hooked up with Sam but didn't want
anything from him. Or Jodie Mills who could hook up with Bobby. If the show is looking to Butch and Sundance for a
theme than they can write in a female who has no interest in boring domesticity.
The story is about two brothers, not all shows need other characters to represent certain sexes or races of people..The show is about two brother struggling through heaven, hell, and faeries. No one complains when there are no men audience in Oprah, there are many shows where women are heroines and I love them but you should compromise the integrity of writing because people want you to be politically correct..
i will correct you. its about two brothers, and one impala. :)
I know this might be a little off beat of a theory idea for Castiel..But what if he was God all along and with his new power he was the one to set everything into motion to lead his past self to the events to make him a God..He was actually the one to bring himself back..Maybe I am wrong but this idea has been buzzing in the back of my head since I saw the finale from a hospital bed after surgery high on morphine..I"m interested to see how this all turns out and what is Cas's plans for Crowley?
i didnt think lisa was a clingy woman in fact most of the time she was saying bye to dean i think its sad that they could nt make it i m not bothered about jo coming back but i would nt like her to be a love interest for dean she reminds me of a kid sister and i would be happier if they brought lisa and ben back and find someone for sam as well the show has to end eventually which is nt good but when it does i would like a happy ending please for both the boys.
as a reply to Bobbiewankenobi Castiel was not thegod there was an old god but Castiel with the new power is the new god but the old god idont know what happend to him just that Castiel is the new god > does any one know when is the seventh season going to come out ?
I kind of like Bella, she really make the Season 3 funny. I hope Jared can bring her back. Another thing maybe more ghost around the world such as Asia and Europe and also in American Latin. In Malaysia we have this Pocong, a copse that jump around after buried, Chinese Vampire that also jump and kill it's victim after suck the victim blood. A Banana tree Ghost and more. I think this what supernatural is.
So if Alona Tal comfirmed that Jo will return in season 7 does that mean they are going to resurrect her or she will be brought back possessed by a demon? Very glad to hear she will be in season 7, curious as how though. Cant Wait till the next season! =)
I'm so excited that Alona Tal (Jo) will be coming back! I admit I was not a fan of the character at first but as I've been watching reruns I paid a bit more attention to her and I started to appreciate her more. I really liked the chemistry between her and Dean …. whether it's as a little sister or whatever. Jo and Ellen keep the brothers a little more human and I think the show needs that. Sometimes the boys and Bobby just need a woman to smack some sense into them and knock them off their high horse. It feels like there is something missing without Jo and Ellen.
They should bring back the kid jessie…. The kid that was incredibly powerful cuz he was part demon part human so he can help with cass and stuff! That wuld be bad ass!
