Supernatural Sneak Peek: Crossing the God of Time in Episode 7.12
Last week's episode of Supernatural confirmed - once and for all - that Bobby is well and truly dead. After returning to Rufus' cabin to regroup and grieve, the boys decided to part ways. Sam headed off to help a young girl find her hunter father who had gone missing, while Dean headed to find Frank so he could learn the meaning of the numbers Bobby gave them right before he died.
As it turns out, the numbers led to a field in Wisconsin, where it looks like the leviathans are planning on building something. Exactly what that "something" is remains to be seen. But when Sam got captured by some bloodsucking vetalas, Dean headed off to save his brother and the missing hunter, with a little help from the young girl who turned out to be pretty awesome. The boys hit the open road at the end of the episode, now truly alone in the world. For more details about the episode, read our full recap and review.
A new episode of Supernatural will be airing on January 13. Jason Dohring will be making a guest appearance as the God of Time, who gets angry with the Winchesters and sends Dean back to the 1940s. While Sam is desperately trying to figure out a way to bring his brother back to the present - since they no longer have a time-traveling angel on their side - he is also shocked by the return of an old friend. Any guesses on who it could be?
For what it's worth, Dean doesn't seem too unhappy about being in 1944, especially when he gets to team up the famous Eliot Ness, pick up a Tommy gun, and shoot some bad guys.
Watch a sneak peek for the January 13 episode of Supernatural below, airing at 9:00 p.m. ET on The CW. You can also watch a trailer for the episode here or view some awesome photos here.

While Bobby is indeed dead, that was never in question: the true question is "Did Bobby choose to go to the great beyond, or stay behind as a ghost?" I think he did choose to remain as a ghost, and this episode confirmed it. It has to do with the bottle of beer Dean has opened that mysteriously empties. I think that was Bobby's way of telling the boys he was still around, without actually revealing himself just yet.
