Supernatural Sneak Peek: Cas & Crowley Disagree in 6.20 "The Man Who Would Be King"

If you missed Friday's new episode of Supernatural, then you missed the twist of the season (you can read our recap & review here). As it turns out, Eve only returned to Earth because Crowley was killing her children/monsters. Crowley was doing this in order to find Purgatory and gather more souls. And he was doing THAT in order to help Castiel.

That's right, folks. Castiel and Crowley are working together. Even right now, because Castiel didn't actually kill Crowley when he burned his bones (I assume it was just a nice parlor trick to fool the Winchesters).

Now Sam and Dean know that Crowley is still alive, and while Bobby - and Sam - believe that Castiel is acting extremely suspicious, Dean doesn't want to believe that someone he trusts would betray them.

In the next new episode of Supernatural, which airs on May 6, we are finally going to get the backstory on the war in Heaven.  Given what we now know about Castiel and Crowley, I assume we'll also be getting some indication as to why the two of them teamed up.  It appears that Bobby, Sam and Dean corner Castiel (possibly in a ring of holy fire) to interrogate him about his actions.

Below is a sneak peek for the episode, featuring Crowley and Castiel arguing about what to do with the Winchesters.  Despite the fact that Castiel is clearly lying to his friends, he doesn't want to kill them as Crowley has requested.

You can also view a trailer here and promo photos here for the episode.  Don't miss an all new episode of Supernatural on May 6!

"Denim-wrapped nightmares?"  Oh, I can't WAIT to see this one!  FINALLY, one of the Big Bads not only respects the Winchesters, but actively fears them.  From that tiny snippet, it seems to Crowley THEY'RE the things that go bump in the night.

At least Cas is protecting them, which I totally believed he would, but what the heck is going on?!?!?  It'll be a photo finish to the finale for them filling in all the questions they've open up.  It's good to see someone realizes that the Winchester's kick-ass, be afraid Crowley, be very afraid.
