You've all heard about the newest meta episode that Supernatural will be doing this year, right? It was first really talked about in the TV Guide article about the show (read more here), although Misha had hinted at it in an earlier interview. Dean and Sam will be waking up as Jared and Jensen, who are actors on a television show called Supernatural.
At the time I commented: "Wouldn't it be hilarious if Sam woke up as Jared and was married to Genevieve Cortese, who played Ruby on the show?"
Oh, look at that, I totally predicted what would happen (although I'm sure a lot of you did too). Ausiello just shared this spoiler about the new meta episode:
As you may or may not have heard, a late winter episode will obliterate the fourth wall by transporting Sam and Dean to an alt-uni where they are actors named Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki starring in a cult TV show called Supernatural. Wait, it gets wink-winkier: In this other dimension, Sam/Jared has a wife — and it’s none other than Padalecki’s real-life bride (and former ‘Supe costar) Genevieve Cortese!
Now that's going to be funny. Unfortunately, no word on whether Jensen's real life wife, Danneel Harris, will be making an appearance, since she's busy with her own show, but having Cortese appear kind of makes more sense since she was on Supernatural originally. After seeing "The Monster At the End of This Book", "The Real Ghostbusters" and "Changing Channels" - the previous meta episodes - I'm confident this one will be awesome.
Apparently Misha revealed that Ben Edlund, who recently penned the hilarious season 6 episode "Clap Your Hands If You Believe" came up with this idea. I'm hoping he'll be writing the script as well. I think we're in for a treat.
P.S. I'm already aware that my little play on words in the title is kind of lame, so, trust me, you don't need to point it out :)

i love Gen and to see her as not Ruby but as herself jus makes it better :)
I think the whole thing will be hilarious. I think the only show I would trust to pull this off is Supernatural.
Misha should totally bring his kid in!! :D
