Supernatural Spoilers for the Rest of Season 6

[Note: this article will remove the spoilers for episodes that have already aired and will continue to add new spoilers to future episodes as they become known]

There are only four more episodes left in this season of Supernatural (where has the time gone?!) and we’ve decided to put together a collection of spoilers for the remaining episodes from various sources, including all that was learned at PaleyFest (for more coverage of that event, click here and here).

We’ve organized the spoilers by episode below - given what we know about future episodes - along with a few general ones at the very end.

If I missed any spoilers let me know and I'll add them!

Bobby will also suspect that Castiel is hiding information from them, but Dean won't want to believe that.

6x21: “Let It Bleed (aka Haunter of the Dark)”
6x22: "The Man Who Knew Too Much” (Two-Hour Season Finale Airing May 20)

Gamble wrote part 1 of the finale, while series creator Eric Kripke wrote part 2. Part 1 will apparently be primarily Dean-centric, while part 2 will be Sam-centric. There’s a little bit of uncertainty about the actual title for the finale. Original it was rumored to be called “The Haunter of the Dark, Parts 1 and 2”, but now apparently the titles have changed.

All of the loose mythological stories should be dealt with in the finale - Purgatory, the war in Heaven, Sam’s amnesia and the wall in his head - and somehow all of it will tie together.  According to reports from the recent Jus in Bello convention in Rome, we will learn who actually pulled Sam out of Hell.  Crowley is apparently not responsible for busting him out of Lucifer's cage.

According to the official synopsis for the part 1 of the season finale, Lisa and Ben will appear again when they are kidnapped by a demon in an effort to draw out Dean.

Expect two unexpected deaths to occur in the season finale.  Given how un-permanent death is in the Supernatural universe, there's no telling whether these new deaths will stick.  Gamble told TV Guide that the episodes will be very dark and desperate.

The finale will have Eve facing off against the Winchesters and Castiel.  Misha Collins told TV Guide: ""It's epic and daunting.  The final confrontation is definitely not what anyone is expecting. It is, however, larger and more epic than the viewers are expecting."

Jim Beaver told TV Line: “There are changes in the alliances, and in Castiel’s relationship with the boys and with Bobby" (could this refer to Bobby's suspicions in about Castiel keeping secrets in the previous episode?)

But Kripke is quick to assure fans that the brothers' relationship will not be threatened again, like it was throughout most of seasons 4 and 5.  He told TV Guide: "We're actually enjoying that, for the first time in a long time, the brothers are a really strong, cohesive unit, so we're going to keep them like that for the foreseeable future."

Sam's wall will also definitely be coming down in the finale.  The writers will also address Sam's amnesia from when he was soulless and Sam will confront his previous actions and engage in a lot of soul searching. Kripke told TV Line: You don’t want to blow it off,” he says with a laugh. “You don’t want him to be a drooling vegetable on the floor either because that’s not super-exciting to watch last I checked. But I think it’ll be good. I think it’ll be really powerful and emotional. Hopefully, the fans will enjoy it.

Like with most previous season finales, expect a very big cliffhanger that Kripke says will leave fans tearing out their hair while waiting over the summer.  Padalecki told TV Guide that "This one doesn't necessarily end with death, but with a whole new beginning."

General

The remaining episodes of the season will feature more group interactions - with the brothers uniting with Bobby and Castiel to help defeat Eve and the other problems that spring up.  But it won't be all team-building exercises.  Jim Beaver warned EW that: “Certain relationships among the group have some rather climactic shifts. Don’t expect the four of us to all be relating the same way at the end of the season as we were at the beginning.” This likely relates to what Beaver said above with changes in Castiel’s relationships with the boys and Bobby.

So that's all folks, spoilers for the remaining episodes of Supernatural. “That, I believe, is going to be a weak point or an achilles heel at some point,” he said. “There’s definitely a conclusion that comes, and it’s a very emotional conclusion.”

Well if Lisa dying wasn't cemented before for me, it certainly is now. But somehow I don't believe they will kill Ben along with her. Maybe it's partly only fan wishing but I really got the idea from the last talk between Dean and Ben that Ben will end up becoming an important part of the extended Winchester "family that doesn't end with blood." :)

Maybe Balthazar will be killed. If Crowley didn't pull Sam from Hell maybe the Antichrist, Jesse Turner did.

  3. deb484 says:

I miss the demon storylines, theyve gone by the wayside…I was thrilled to see them in the Western episode.  That would be cool if Jesse pulled Sam out but why not ALL of Sam?  Why keep his soul in the cage with Luci and Michael?  Im glad we arent dragging out the wall thing with Sam, lets deal with it!

  4. Lucifera says:

Is anyone else wondering what happened to Chuck?

  5. Jenn D says:

all I can say is I love Castiel and I hope he is a part of season 7 :((((

  6. Kel says:

I think @least 1 of the unexpected deaths will be Bobby.  Only cause everyone already suspects that Lisa &/or Ben will be killed so them dying woudn't be unexpected, but Bobby &/or Cas would.  Everyone probably assumes that they're safe cause the boys need them but what if they aren't safe, what if the 2 unexpected deaths are Bobby & Cas??  it would fit with this comment "Padalecki told TV Guide that "This one doesn't necessarily end with death, but with a whole new beginning"  Maybe they die near the end & then @ the end you're kinda left with now what do the boys do, who do they turn to??  Bobby's been there since the beginning they've ALWAYS had him in their corner and if he's killed what do they have then, who do they go to for help.  Next Season could start with that, here you have Sam & Dean all alone now in their battle against evil, what do they do.  It would be pretty interesting & definately a twist.
